Just bought ESO. Trying to set up my account and every time I enter my billing information it's says "Invalid Address". Anyone have a fix for this?

It has to be absolutely perfect. That means no Spaces, no shortening things. If your Credit Card has it at 422 Berry Lane and you put 422 Berry Ln it wont take it. it has to be absolutley perfect

It's Perfect. I'm at a loss for what to do.

If that doesn't help then contact them because thats the only other thing. Also double check on the zipcode. I live in 55511 but at my bank they have it as 55510 and it screws it up

I'm just going to do a refund. Thanks anyway.

    Hello all,

You should contact our billing support concerning your The Elder Scrolls Online account by taking the following steps:
    • Open the Support page on the official ESO website and click on Email or contact Customer Support here.
    • Once the support e-mail opens, choose Account / Billing under "What kind of problem are you experiencing?"
    • Choose "I need help with something else." from the Select a Subcategory dropdown menu.
    • Describe the problem in the space provided.
    • Click Submit Question to send the appeal to Customer Support.

    Thank you.

What's the average wait time for a support ticket?

Depends. I wrote them a few days ago and it took about 2 hours for them to write me back but they are still trying to troubleshoot my problem and are only writing me about once a day. Best thing to do is to send them a personal message on Facebook they will ask for the ticket number and usually contact you quicker.

What worked for me is not putting my suite number in the suite number box. I put it at the start of street address box.
    5 1122 joeblow road
    Like that.
    As apposed to:
    1122 joeblow road
    5
    Won't work.

I went through this crap in beta. I have to say it's very bad CR on their part for not bothering to address this issue.

In my case, it's just a freakin' voodoo thing. If I try to log my address from my desktop, the system freaks out and insists it's invalid. If I try to enter my address on the laptop right next to me, that's actually daisy-chained to the network through my desktop, no problems whatsoever.

Hopefully this gets figured out soon. 10 hours and still no response from support.

There are a couple things it can be. Is your billing address different than your physical address you're putting in (for your credit card)? Are you using a prepaid card? Do you live somewhere weird like 35 SE St W?

Take the support number they gave you and write them on Facebook. It works really well.

I will also warn you that ZOS does not have phones so never do a phone support.

wut? I do phone support all the time and they get back to me within a few hours. It is the most reliable way to get help.

Really? I have seen people claim 10 hour wait times for phones. I thought they got rid of phones. I always wrote them on facebook and have yet to wait more than 2 hours for any resolution less than that for being contacted.

Man I haven't experienced that at all. One time I thought they forgot to call me back but I got an email from that day saying they had tried and were unable to reach me.

So other than that, without fail, I get a fairly timely response.

Credit Card processing issues are more often then not by what info your bank has on file... not the merchant.

If your bank has it entered with the suite at the end of line two and not in the unit field then that is what you will need to type.

To make it more confusing, not all vendors use the same protocol for verification. The better ones cost more money to use -- which seems stupid to me as the better ones stop (or help stop - nothing is perfect) fraud.

Since the merchant pays for any claim filing fees if they lose and the bank pays if the merchant win any charge backs visa (or credit card X - pretty much all the same) makes money either way and doesn't care because people are not going to stop using cards.
