Weapon Swap Is No Longer Highest Priority

You guys are aware that Weapon Swap is no longer the highest priority again right? The code that made that work has somehow been reverted and swapping is a mess again. Including wrong weapons showing.

It's not on your known issues list.

Ever since this patch I haven't been able to play PvP properly and as smoothly as I did before..

It's not barely noticeable. It's horribly noticeable.

For that matter, quite often my weapon simply does not switch, or lags so badly that the wrong skills can fire (repeatedly) from the other loadout which I wouldn't have guessed was possible. Sometimes a medley of the skills from the correct loadout and ones from the alternate loadout fire, even from the same button (for instance, pressing "1" causes a random choice of abilities to occur).

Yep. I thought I was imagining it until I signed off and checked here. The above pretty much describes the experience now.

Same issue here as well. Frustrating how much it gets me in nasty situations.

I've had the issue with weapon swap lagging so that skills keys pressed following a weapon swap click apply to the wrong skills bar.

Yes this nasty bug is back. I reported this in July and they "fixed" it but now sadly it is back. When this bug was around in July I sent them backup information showing how I could respec and have NO skills in either weapon setup yet I could hit the 1-5 key and get random skill fires from PREVIOUS skill setups I had before the respec.

Something is seriously wrong now as I can try to use shards and my staff fires. That is if I am lucky enough for the staff to even fire. I can left click four times and my character just sits there then all of the sudden she will fire off four hits of the staff. It isn't latency, fps or any other connection issue. This just started with the 1.4 update. I am ready to run around with just my fists because basically that is what I am doing now as nothing in relation to weapons is working properly.

I wonder if they use vanilla code and then add patches on top.
I just don't see how you can fix something only to regress it in the next patch.
Either that or the code has been made so humongously complex its impossible to fix anything without busting something.
Either way...someone desperately needs to get a grip on the whole fiasco.

Weapon swap was "fixed" to be the absolute highest priority over every other action a few patches ago. For example, if I am in the middle of my Puncturing Sweep attack and I hit the weapon swap button, it would cancel in the middle of my attack and instant swap my weapon. Now the weapon swap request is lost. My attack continues and I don't even get the swap when it completes. I have to hit weapon swap again.

Please make put back in place weapon swap as the highest priority.

I feel like this problem is worse than ever.
It should really have been a high priority to fix this bug as it affects game play so much, and is a really important part of it.
It's so incredibly annoying when you're in a tight spot, and the weapon change fails resulting in an unnecessary death.
A typical example would be me casting a spell from first bar, pushing weapon swap and then pushing the button to cast a spell from the second bar which would lead to the first spell being cast, weapon swap never happening and a spell from first bar being cast instead of the intended one on the second bar.
Not only is this really annoying but it limits my gameplay so much. Being a healer I now find myself mostly sticking to only one bar in dungeons as i cannot trust the weapon swap. Cannot afford to have that thing mess up when the party is in a tight spot.
Receiving damage seems to really lock the weapon swap totally.

Please make this a first priority to fix as sorting weapon swap would be a huge improvement to the game

You sure they haven't just fixed animation cancelling thru weapon swap ?
Is it weapon swap lag or skill lag ?
I am having a serious problem with skill lag and think it would be difficult to tell the difference.

True, I've lately been unable to switch bars at some point during raids. I have to press ESC to be able to switch again.

I have been unable to weapon swap even when I do not have any other abilities in use. I am just standing still trying to Weapon Swap and I can't.
