My port forwarding doesn't allowme to put in my IP address. Do you think that's automated? Secondly, is ESO Lobby case sensitive?

I don't know about the IP address, but then name doesn't matter, could call it WOWBattlegroundhax4lyfe and it'd still work.

Ok thanks. I don't really understand how this works. I wondered how this approach connected the ESO servers with my system.

I didn't need to go that far. Just using the config page for the router I checked the boxes for the three outbound ports and that was enough. I'm on a 60mb broadband, but have never been able to download anywhere near that figure, 10mbps at best.
After opening the ports I now download at 58mbps. I considered doing the port forwarding thing, but why push my luck?
Give your ISP a ring, they should easily help you through it.
Is that you I can smell?

Thanks, I was able to configure the ports myself, it just didn't give me all the options. Question, it doesn't allow me to do both modes at once, indicAting that I must do it twice if I want both IDP and UDP for each configuration. Should I configure 6 of these? One for IDP with all 3 port configurations, and one for UDP for all 3 port configurations? Right now I only have the IDP ones set up.

When you crash, are you getting any sort of error message? Also, are you all seeing this outside of Cyrodiil and Craglorn as well?
As much as I approve you guys talking to the community, I cannot help but think it's funny that the players all know the answers to these questions. Do you guys not play your own game? If so, alot of this kind of stuff should be crystal clear.

How have your download speeds changed with just the IDP ? If they have improved then that should be that. If not, then configure the UDP also. If it only gives you a choice of one or the other, I would go for UDP.

No crashes, freezes since most recent hotfix.

(Windowed mode, Medium graphics with all toggables OFF, VSync off)
    PC NA

Games are meant to be played.

Back in Auriel's Bow 1.0, I have thought that the best way to handicap a faction with the HUGE pop advantage is to temporarily disable their grouping functionality and their ability to fight in 3rd person point of view! Let's see if these do not even up the odds.

Still crashing, same old story. Statement from ZOS same every time. "Patch x.x.x fixed crashes in cyrodiil"

    Nope.

One crash after hotfix (yesterday) went live, for ~4 hours of Cyrodill play. Prior to hotfix would crash 15-20 times in same timeframe, so hotfix really fixed some things, at least for me.

Performance wise, its still terrible :( Still getting huge fps drop when approaching keep and big battles. FPS goes from 60 locked (w/ v-sync, ~100 without v-sunc) to 40 when just approaching keeps (even when they are behind the hill and not visible at that moment), down to 10-15 fps when actually reach keep under siege and with all other players to render on screen.

Such FPS dropdown and lag always goes along with desync of abilities, rubber band effect, weapon swap locking, abilities not triggering, sound lag, forward camp bugs, postern door, not able to mount etc. Simply said, server chokes and we get choked with it. What are the reasons for server to choke, I dont know, but that is certainly one of the problems seeing timed limitations in use of bank, crafting, guild store etc with famouse error in top right corner of screen "Too many requests, bla, bla. Please wait."

I have noticed that fps drop come even if keep is not under siege and with no other players around, only npc's, BUT with very active siege at same spot at some other campaign (was at Azura with big siege going at same spot in Thornblade), which makes me thinks campaigns are connected and have impact on each other via phasing or something.

Many months have passed since launch and Cyrodiil is still unplayable for many of us, or became such in meantime, even tho from patch to patch you announce things are fixed but issues keep coming back. You see huge decline in active player base over past 3 months, I know i see it in guilds and I'm afraid Update 5 will be last straw for PVP players if it don't finally fix all these problems.

Please make Update 5 completely focused on finally fixing all the game-breaking issues that plagues Cyrodiil or you will see another decline of players I doubt you will be able to recover. Don't think you can pull players back after year or so in case that is the timeframe for Cyrodill to work as it should. Please don't make same mistake as Failcom did with Age of Conan and please don't tease people to use Betamax as name of your company.

I am getting less frequent crashes but also getting a new crash with the Unhandled Exception error. Never had that one before at all. I crashed a lot more today than I normally do while we were fighting AD and EP down at BlackBoot. 4 times in about 45 minutes. Sometimes the error above and sometimes ESO has stopped working message.

I've been experiencing these rampant crashes since the most recent big update. Never before it though. Most of the time it is "ESO has handled an exception and must close.", the rest are "ESO has stopped working" or the crash report shows up.

I thought it was my graphics and additions, seeing how I run ESO_Launcher and SweetFX along with maxed graphic settings and a hefty handful of addons. But even after uninstalling, and reinstalling, then playing for a bit with nothing changed from default, and still get a crash. Tonight I had about 30mins play time before a crash, then a whopping 1hr 50mins game time before a crash! Actually much better than it was this weekend, which I didn't time. I will try the port fowarding this weekend. It just sucks, and I really feel for the folks that have been experiencing this since the beginning of the game!
