✭✭I know a lot of now "old" MMOs that didn't have a gear preview, a.k.a. dressing room, a.k.a. wardrobe, either back when they were new. They got one over the course of their lifetime.
ESO is still new. So odds are good it may get one when it's old(er).
Edit: I cannot follow the implication that just because it's the year x, every new game absolutely must have feature y at launch. It's good that studios still come up with their own feature list and prioritize what seems important to them. you use it only for appearance
to create the style you like
is really a standard for mmo to day and your right item preview will be nice

Dude, there are plenty of non-asian MMOs that offer wardorbe and outfit options, including ones which disable said outfits in PvP.
As is, seeing what armor ppl are using in this game for PvP tells you only one piece of info, since PvP (any that is worth anything...) is about player skill and not just about what they are or are not wearing/wielding, etc.
Personally, I think cosidering the new dye system and the options to change current gear we don't "need outfits" but it would be nice to have the option in the game later down the road when other things are fixed/working well first.Amethyst Warriors PCNA

Sigh. Listen, I applaud you for coming to a game forums that is in a language other than your native one, but you really can't get mad at other people for not being understandable when most of your posts need to be translated into another language to be understandable.
What he is saying is that right now, you can tell if somebody is wearing light, medium, or heavy armor at a glance in PvP or PvE right now, and act appropriately. If you could just put a costume on over that, you could no longer make informed decisions when taking them on.
I am all for some options to make the current situation better, but I personally don't like the idea that you are proposing. -

Im all in favor of a vanity slot system of some sort. Or at least the option to craft costumes ourselves. As for pvp... have costumes disabled in Cyrodil.
