What is a Developer Reaction?

I know this is rather off-topic, and I'm sorry about it...

I was just looking at my profile and wondering what is a developer reaction. I've got some LOLs, Insightfuls, Awesomes... But no developer reaction. So, what is it?

1. When a developer clicks any of the other reactions on a post of yours, or;
2. When you get quoted by a developer? or;
3. When you get a PM, edit, warning or something like that from a developer?

Also, must it really be a Developer or ZOS staff count as well?

I think the possibility that it's a (default?) feature of Vanilla Forums which hasn't been disabled due to neglect/oversight/'"what harm can it be?" attitude' cannot be entirely dismissed.

We don't know unless someone cares to explain. Until then it's best to be ignored, because it doesn't seem to be important enough to be explained in the first place.

Oh, wow, then it's a major trauma. I figured it could be obtained (but I didn't have it yet)... Like a reply from a dev or something.

Now I see I'm not the only one wondering

Not sure what it counts but if you look at a ZOS employee account you can see that they all have values greater than 0 for that field ...

General forum members don't seem have permissions to use that flag,
thus it is not visible on the flag bar for a general forum user to use.
Must be reserved for staff use.

Hmmmm... I suppose it must be a special flag created to tag their own posts and allow the shenanigans like going directly to Dev comments inside threads and such. (Like a tagging system)

Ok just looked at it and it seems the developer reaction goes up when one of the moderator replies to someone.

I've had Gina quote one of my posts in a reply and I have 0 for the developer reaction so I don't think that is it.

It goes up on the Mods not the persons. Its for Mods only. Click on one of the Mods names go to the reaction part and click on it you'll see what I mean.
