The skeletons zergs with firerings+batswarms...that requires skills...right?

I mean the skills needed to coordinate groups of 20+ vamps spaming firerings and swarms...how long does it take to master this? One must have played since beta for this feat...right? I mean every night it is the same: lets get massive group to skill lag everybody while we Fire Swarm all the way.

Then you have players who for some reason with 5 people on them take no damage whatsoever...none for minutes at the time.

Finally you have the biggest lie in gaming history: Press CMD to get out of crowd control. o.O lets try that...<CC'ed again...dead> [snip] !@!11!. Why do you even taunt players telling them they can get out of CC if the very second after they do its either talons or face to the floor and dead?

I feel like I want to cut myself now

    zerg (noun)
Originates from Blizzard's game Starcraft where zerg were one of 3 playable races, aliens like appeareance, zerg were characterized by using large numbers of weak units to swarm the enemy, also another charasteristic of zerg were that everything was organic, ie, zerg didnt used machines or any artifacts, they would mutate their own buildings from special kind of larvae and advanced units were created by mutating basic ones. Units were cheap to make and it was possible to make extreme numbers in short period of time.

Nowadays term zerg is used in mmo games to describe force consisted of large group of lower level players (often with only basic equipment) who use numbers rather then strategy to defeat the enemy, therefore requiring no skill. This tactics is commonly known as zerging

Let them zerg away. It must be super boring to have to be ass to ass with your team mates in order to even be slightly effective in PvP. Catch a few of them away from the pack and you got yourself some good desert.

Nevertheless, it's their play style and if that's what they find fun, then so be it.

I'm just waiting for them to create the Sypher Ballista.

    Sypher Ballista
Shoots a projectile that does 250 damage to affected targets. Damage is increased by 250 for every target hit in the area. No AOE Limit.

One can only dream that ZOS implements the Sypher Ballista. It will spread them out just a tiny bit.

heh, sounds like a good siege weapon to add.

Another addition could be a weapon that works kind of like the dragon leap landing, knocking players away from the center of the hit/explosion.

How about a garlic ballista and garlic grenades? Almost completely useless against normal people but hits vampires with 2k unavoidable damage, a 50% chance of crit, vampires would start to vomit for 10 minutes preventing them them to use any vampire skill and give them a 50% fail chance for any other skill.
An allergic reaction to the garlic would turn the skin of the vampires bright green for 30min and the clothing would turn bright pink.
And no, that wouldn't be OP since every non-vampire player (the player, not the toon) would be stunned by the sight of the green vomiting vampires - main problem would be probably the long, loud laughter in voice chat.

Or Zenimax could fix all the huge imbalances and broken game mechanics they introduced with vampires. I guess we will get the garlic ballista earlier than Zenimax balancing some skills in a useful way.

Oh an other option would be a new world skill: Eat Garlic. Same as bat-swarm but only affects vampires. Player turns in to a big green cloud and can't be attacked by vampires while doing damage to vampires and still being able to cast Impuls (or any other skill). If someone using "Eat garlic" and gets hit by vampire skill his ultimates will charge at a 100% rate and healing would increase ; )
Since it only affects vampires the cost of the skill is very low - since everybody knows that there aren't many vampires because the downside of being vampire is soo huge, so the skill would be completely useless and just a fun skill.

    Coordination ≠ skill
Never, nowhere. Following one guy with a group leader symbol and/or using TS doesn't make you skilled. Althought the moment they do any of the two I would stop calling them a zerg. For me a zerg has absolutely no coordination.
It's fascinating watching any of them though, almost like a social study.

No no no. If you want people to SPREAD OUT, you create a weapon that gives them incentives to get away from their team mates.

Something like, upon successful cast, the affected player will explode, letting out 5kdmg within 1m, 1k dmg within 3m, 800 dmg within 5m, 500 dmg within 10m.

And if they're affected, they'll have a new status that if they catch the splash damage of that same skill again within 10 seconds, the damage will be quadrupled.

When you get skill lagged to death because you have 20 people purposefully lagging the whole area by firing everything they have in AOEs to create skill lag and then you have people telling you to get out of CC I laugh then I go cut myself.

Smurfs have been caught apparently several time lagging the server to hell to crash it. Bananas do the exact same thing in different areas. First you have the massive group appearing out of nowhere when you have magelight out, then you have invisible batswarm exploits, then it is skill lag of hell while you are face down being knocked down over and over by the swarm while you get burned and finally die. THEN you hear 10 to 15 error sounds in a row of the server catching up trying to fire your skills but hey you are dead so [snip].

Then there is skill lag that for some reason makes you move forward when you are on a tower and absolutely do not want to jump down but hey the game thinks that pressing skill1 means you want to walk in a certain direction...then you panic because you are moving in a different direction than what you want to do so you try to back up but the server is still using your bow as you were on the tower but that was 15 seconds away and you are being targetted. You get CCed and try to get out of it and get the CMD message on the screen then you laugh because you know that the msg is in real time but the server is 15 seconds behind. You press CMD to no avail...two three four, twenty times but nothing happens and you are dead. Then while the recap gets on your screen you hear 5 error sounds and the messages that you can not do that while dead.

Requires skills as I said before...

Or you could, you know with practice learn to reasonably/effectively manage your resources so immovable is always up, you purge at the correct times (purge spam is not necessary due to the 6 second buff after it unless you're standing in oil pots), and well maybe play with a group who is helping to spread out the responsibility of different abilities such as purge and rapid so that you don't get obliterated by another enemy group? If you're solo and trying to run all of this, the only case you're getting "spammed" by 20 people doing these things to you is when you're running into an enemy group... in which case you're gonna die regardless and you're dumb for thinking you should be able to run into that.

Did you really just put in there complaining that you forgot to use an ability? What if you're a healer and you forgot to heal somebody... its the same. Work on getting better at the game and these problems will diminish greatly/disappear. You're complaining about things that are within your power to change, all it takes is making an effort. But I guess complaining about it is easier... *shrug*

as for previous posts about how breaking out of CC is a joke, yes I completely agree it is. It is only meant for a backup, it is horribly stamina ineffcient and the immunity after it is extremely short. You should be using, proactively, other abilities to prevent you from having to CC break. Once you have practiced this, having to CC break will be a rare occurrence and there just in case of a misstep, which will happen from time to time. Should things like talons not be spammable? Yep, hopefully they get around to fixing it, but there are many tools are your disposal now that help mitigate the possibly imbalanced things in this game (such as too much CC, spam CC, etc.).

Not having immunity has made me a stronger player. It will only get easier in the future if they make it so you are indeed to immune to stuff.

In all honesty, having retreating maneuver up when you're positioning yourself and not doing any dps to your opponents really does take a lot of the frustration out of the equation. Are you going to have a retort to not like an honest and proven comment? Please show me how you think I'm wrong and I'll show you some of my videos where my survivability has been awesome according to my nerdy standards of extreme internet excellence.

And I swear if you get serious on me again @Huntler I will implement even more obnoxious comments because letting a game become an outlet to just complain and not have fun is certainly not what I want to do with my time off.

It requires simpletons. That is all - people that would otherwis be bad at the game. They feel safe and pro whenever they are in a zergball spamming AoE and farming AP.

In fact, I think their mentality has fallen so low that they actually think the higher PvP rank they are, the better they think they are. Hilarious.

probably because 95% of the time that statement is true, unless the people are on an alt. it just comes down to knowledge of the game, if someone is a higher rank than you theyve most likely played more than you, and thus are better than you. im not sure why people think this is some crazy concept that cant be grasped
