Cyrodiil bugged?

Created a new character, using the Craglorn template. No problem creating a Nord in the Ebonheart Pact, but when I immediately wanted to go to Cyrodiil, I noticed:
1 - even though my character as mentioned is a Nord in the EP, only the DC area is available.
2 - when actually activating the wayshrine to go to Cyrodiil, it give an eternal loading screen
