    I have something against it (please specify in the comments)
    I'm not sure really. This seems again a solution for players to escape socialisation and speak to each others. Everything that skip the social interaction is dangerous in MMO, imho. We saw how the Dungeon Finder destroyed World of Warcraft community. Not even speaking about the awful Guild Finder they implemented.

    I'd say it's a bad idea, but I can see the advantage of this for the zone chat spamming. Maybe it would reduce the frequency of the stupid guild message recruitment ... Everyone would benefit from it.

    Personaly, if my guild had a shop (which we do not), I'd not use this function, as I'd not want to have to deal with automatic application in game of players that can't be arsed to speak with me, find my guild forum and make a proper application showing motivation and dedication. But that's just me. I know a lot of guild just aim for numbers and do not really care about that.

    Well system is working very fine atm and in order to allow people to apply, you'd need to do a lot of coding and I just don't see this as an important feature.

    Edit: I do agree though that you should be able to see who guild leader/recruitment officer is in kiosks to be able to contact them & ask for a spot.

    wouldn't be a lot of coding involved to do this.

    system is already in place.

    Maybe it is just me but I found it impossible to be sociable in a multiple of guilds. My solution was to create seperate chat tabs for each guild I belonged to and use them depending on what I happen to be doing - PvE, PvP, everything else.

    As it happens, I do most of my socialising and PvE within my main trading guild, but it is the first guild I joined in ESO and has been a brilliant experience.

    Most players though - and I include myself, if and when it happens - join a second (or third, or fourth) trade guild purely for access to more sales listings. It doesn't mean we are not sociable, just everything needs a limit, you know? Which is why the OP's suggestion is a great one, it would be perfect for trade guilds and would reduce the 'stupid' guild recruitment messages in zone chat, allowing it to become a more sociable environment.

    As for people saying that 'large' guilds' wouldn't need this feature - don't kid yourselves. It's a pretty constant job keeping guilds of 500 near maxed out with active members. Hence the necessity to call out in zone on a regular basis. Other types of guilds can function well with much smaller numbers - better actually - but trade guilds need all the members they can get to be truly effective.

    In order to improve the current system of guild vendors I am suggesting a new feature: Allow users to apply for guild membership at the kiosks.

    Why:
    - This makes it easier for users to join trading guilds and it makes it easier for trading guilds to grow.
    - Essentially this feature allows a user to go to a kiosk and sell his items there (by first requesting membership) so the experience will be more immersive.
    - This mechanism would greatly improve the rate of active players inside trading guilds.

    How: The conversation menu at the kiosk shows a new option "The suchandsuch guild is recruiting, apply now." By clicking that option the user sends a notification to the guild master which behaves similar to a group invitation. The guild master can then accept or decline this request.

    In order to avoid spamming or for private guilds, it should be possible to turn off this feature in the guild menu. Also it might make sense to disable applications while the guild is at max members.
    you should have 100 awesome / agree badges for this idea.

    I don't think I agree with you. From my perspective the main communication happens inside the guild. The process of finding a guild and joining a guild should be made as simple as possible.

    In my opinion, any major patterns that emerge in zone chat, be it WTS/WTB messages, guild ads or something else, are a sign that the interface is missing something important.

    Yes, Good idea too add to the current system.

    For those of you who know me here.
    I do not agree with anything which;"makes things easier"
    @spoqster
    This suggestion, is a great idea. Does no harm and gives the work of the good trade guilds, one more feature to add to their merchant part of ESO.

    @ZoS_JessicaFolsom
    Zenimax! Look over here! Good idea that doesn't demand bank space/free respec/free-to-play or other nonsense.

    A good solid, simply, idea that adds value to Tamriel. More players like you pleasel

    That sounds a little contrary if you don't mind me saying. Surely a guild made for family and real life friends wouldn't be recruiting 'random' players under any circumstances.

    On the other hand, you can have your small guild of tight-knit friends and join 4 other guilds for trading all of which will remain at arms length and not interfere with the social aspect you have put in place for yourselves.

    I'd have thought it would be ideal for you.

    I think especially the smaller trade guilds will benefit if they manage to get a guild kiosk.

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ @ZOS_GinaBruno‌ @ZOS_KaiSchober‌

    Any chance this feature might be implemented?

    The feedback is so overwhelmingly positive on this suggestion. Could you please let us know if Support has at least pitched this to the appropriate team? :-)

    It's a pretty cool idea I guess. Or at least, there could be a place for the guild to post their recruitment info, i.e. a link to their website or a person's name to contact.

    Not sure why there needs to be poll on this but I do support idea of being able to apply to guild through the vendor. This is good especially for trading guilds.

    I figure a poll is the only way to get the ear of the game developers. The whole process of reaching them is soooo frustrating. I mentioned the ZOS support staff a few times in this thread already. Nothing. Not even a "We're looking into it but can't promise anything yet." I would even be fine with a "We don't like the idea because of XYZ."

    They react to the complaints about the stamina builds and about the veteran ranks, but those are the mass complaints.

    I am getting the feeling there is no channel to get the more creative ideas through. Even if they are simple.

    Most players only care and complain about existing features, and don't really see the new ideas. So it is really hard to get traction for something new. There should be some system that allows the more creative ideas/players to get the ear of the developers. Having an 80% approval rating on a poll with at least 100 votes may be one option.

    I am close to stalking @ZOS_MattFiror‌ and @ZOS_PaulSage‌ in their favorite bar and buy them a beer just to have a relaxed chat about game development and ESO's trading system. :-)

    Clever way to bring a more practical way to apply to Guilds. Nicely done.
    What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.
