It did. Not anymore. Sure, took time, but a guildie, templar tank in heavy. Did a trial. 50 mins I think.

You can do pretty much whatever you like if you aren't concerned w/ actually completing Trials in a timely fashion.

I don't think that anybody has ever said that a heavy armor tank can't do Trials, just that it's not optimal.

I think they should make the base duration of all the armor skills based on how many pieces of that armor you have equipped. Immovable should also have its overall duration increased, and unstoppable increase it beyond that. Heavy armor should be immovable for far longer than it currently is.

I say for every piece of heavy armor, increase immovables duration by 1.5 second with its current minimum duration of 8 seconds with 0 pieces of heavy armor worn, while unstoppable increases the duration by 50% when you have 5 pieces of heavy armor worn.

Immovable brute needs some love too, because even now unstoppable is the better morph.

The same can be done for annulment and evasion, making them far better to use while in the armor they derive from, while not making them any worse to use than they are currently.

Guys, the only issues that heavy armour has is that

    a) Stamina, especially when you try to dodge/break damn roots like the Talons.

    b) Weapon damage buff needs to be more

    c) There are no Stamina weapon set that drop VR12+. The only useful set costs 1.3 million alliance currency. (Ravager). All the drop heavy weapon sets are Magicka based and one useless (Fire). And some very good ones, like Soulshine, cannot get more than VR10 version :(

I use 5 HA, 2 LA on a Magicka based build on my Templar and I love it. I will never go back to 7/7 cloth, but the Stamina consumption on trying to break the damn root spams is ridiculous high that make Medium Armour a much better option.

Immovable will prevent roots or break you out of them and prevent you being rooted again
