Role Playing is like 9nth in the top 10 ten things i want to do in an mmo. For my girl, its the 2nd most important thing to do in an mmo. Our priorities lead us down a very ugly road to the world of Deprived and sinister Rpers. I know some of you might think this is not what all RP guilds are like, but you only need one experience like this before you realize how twisted the Rp mind can be.

I came home from my 9 hour shift like any other day and was looking forward to questing with my girl as usual. She was sitting in front of the computer very focused on some pms she was getting and for the first time ever....i didnt get my afterwork hug. I knew something was up immediately. I played it cool and gave her a peck on the cheek and a short neck massage because thats what cool loving Bf's do. I asked her what she was up to and she said "oh nothing just some guy wanting me to join his vampire guild"...... Red flag #2. So i sat down at my computer and asked her some questions about this Vamp guild, and she said it was an Rp guild and had very detailed and organized system of role playing. Apparently they were the best role playing guild around according to her. The rest of the night my girl traded pms back and forth with this Vampire Lord and everytime it got a little awkward between us, she would divulge a little bit more information about the guild. I ended up playing the rest of the night by myself but i did manage to get her to give me the guilds name, which i planned on researching at work the next day. What came next was just sick.

It was my fault for not checking on the guilds website the next day....instead i waited 3 days before i finally did so. What i found was that this so-called best vamp guild was rostered by 7 dudes....and the newly made member....my girl, who named her new character similar to Anastasia Steele ffs. I read the requirements of the guild and found out that these 7 dudes acted as Vampire Lords that bit new female members into the guild where then these new members would become thralls that had to obey the Lords and....do certain erotic things. Time was not on my side and i had to get home to my girl before these sickos ravaged her via cyber seduction.

I got home early and the first thing i asked her was if she had become a Thrall slave toy for these lords. She looked at me like a kid caught in the cookie jar and said...."yeah soooo? Its just Rping". Just rping?Just Rping are you insane?!! These guys are using you for their own depraved fantasies, its 7 men using you! Wth. She replied saying it was not real and that she liked that kind of thing and it meant a lot to her. She said that they had already discussed an option for me if i found out what was going on. I was afraid for a second that she might try to kill me but what she said was worse....."The Vampire Lords decided that you would be the first male thrall in their guild so long as you obey them and let me be their thrall as well". *Jaw dropped....i could only respond with the best answer i could give "Im a man baby and a Templar, im noones ***".

Well to end this story....i got her to leave the guild but it had a terrible cost. Once a week i have to wear a cape and fangs in the bedroom and read off a dialogue she wrote for me. I figured i love her enough to shame myself in these....acts of love. However, everytime i put that stupid cape on, i cant help but think how this all came about because of 7 dudes who wanted to cyber-rp my lovely girl into a little trashy thrall slave. Seriously, you Rpers are just dangerous.

Sometimes i have to be the thrall but thats not the point. These people are dangerous.....You have no idea how afraid i am that my girl finds an Rp werewolf guild now. I dont even have the money to buy a Werewolf suit atm.

In my house, we do some Batman role-playing. I tie her up on the bed, naked, and jump off the dresser in my Batman costume. One time I hit my head on the ceiling fan and she had to yell out until the neighbors came over to "help". Luckily, they came dressed as Commissioner Gordon and Robin.

Have you checked out that werewolf armor with the reduced ultimate? Not too shabby.

If you're not trolling, I strongly suggest that you and your gf sit down and have a serious talk about boundaries and what you feel comfortable with vs. what she feels comfortable with, and try to get on the same page.

Dude there's obviously some underlying issues here that go beyond jsut RP'ing in ESO. In my opinion, if my girl has any type of intimate/emotional relationship outside of our own. It's done. She is missing something and looking for it elsewhere. Kick her out. Find a normal girlfriend and move on. #Plentyoffish

I don't think you're completely trolling, no. I had a girl friend (not girlfriend, i bat for the other team) who LOVED the old school AOL instant messanger role playing.

That stuff was.... whooooa. I think it is better described as E-RP (which sounds like that vamp guild wanted to be as well)

Wouldn't suprise me if there were guilds here doing just that I'm in a guild full of Anime Lovers, thats bad enough All kidding aside though, Fairy Tale of Tamriel, DC NA, is a very friendly guild, which is kinda hard to find.

I have seen a marriage break up due to guild members. There was a married couple and when the wife wasn't on the husband would hit on the girl members. It eventually lead to cheating and divorce so yeah it is very dangerous even though it is 'just a game'.

I should tell you that the cape and fangs only temporarily closed the book on that story. It will open again later if it is not truly resolved. The RP was just the vehicle that was used, not the source.
