1-2SEC deaths

Please for the luv of Talos shut down PVP till you fixed the 1-2 sec deaths, from now almost every type of build (mainly bow). Its not PVP when you have no chance to fight back you just die. Is anyone playing/ testing this crap out ? how could you put this gank feast out and feel good about it. Are you servicing exploiters? with inside info on this crap? do they pay more? what your motivation for doing this? is this game just for a certain few who exploit hack or have inside info? and we are just comedy set up to loose?
I hope Molag Bal poops on your coffee table for all the stress this has caused in my guild and others.

Your dying from bow?

As an NB who uses bow as 1st weapon (have done since day 1) I know how we can hit hard with bow, but I also know how to defend against a bow attack. Invest attributes in health, run things like immovable, and for the love of all that is Holy, have impen on your armour, that'll go a long way to keeping you alive.

Its not just bow its the abilities glitching crap out.

I kill people and then I can't draw/sheath/switch weapons or hit any commands from my main bar even shift shift doesnt work.

You are talking two completely different things now going from basically the bow being OP to game bugs.
What kijima said was perfect in response to bows, as far as the bugs go just report them.. however
Protip: roll dodge, as odd as it sounds.. it would fix that bug where you cant swap weapons or cant use (E) to interact and most other bugs like it in pvp, I assure you this isn't a troll its the first thing you should try.. Even when you get to a bugged door, some are really just bugged, and other times its a small glitch with the (E) interact function and the door actually works fine you can roll dodge and then use the door.

i heard about 2k crits. well templar heals it up faster than light + they can use shield. DK same and he pops resistances. Sorc have shield and shield from light armor skill. So its rare that 2k hits you, and if you let that happen because you dont use defensive skills, without being in stealth, its not a fault of the bow.

and yes. some using some exploits so some skills hit very very high.

Ive said it before , with skills that can hit for 700-1000 and above the health pool of around 3k is no where near enough.

If it is an exploit, it needs to be fixed and it shouldn't have anything to do with bow burst damage builds.

Yes a Sneak Attack Snipe can Crit for up to 2000 damage but the follow up damage is no where near that and this only happens to people wearing LIGHT ARMOR.

If you don't want to get hit hard by arrows take off the dress and put on some actual Heavy Armor that will protect you from physical damage.

I would agree with you for other games but its different in ESO, You don't have to rely on passive defense, you can physically block and dodge these attacks an take zero damage. On top of that this game doesn't use castable, interuptable main heals, And these heals are very powerful.

Personally I think damage and life is fine with the defense abilities But I still think healing has to be toned down because right now in most cases people are unkillable when engaged and the fight only ends once someone runs out of power and cant heal

I die in 2s from sorcs and Dks too. With marked target from stealth my lethal arrows never exceed 1300 DMG. Sorry

The funniest parts are from those [snip] people giving advice that helps you not get 1-2sec deaths. lol I have used all of them and STILL been perma stunned, or knock off horse and dead before I hit the ground.
Also wearing light armor should not mean instant death for you.

When a bug doesn't occur a fight between 2 skilled players takes about 3 minutes. Wearing light armor should mean instant death if you let someone uppercut you.

I play PvP for hours every day, and I have never had an issue of a 2 second death. Are you wearing full impenetrable armor? If you are, you will never be crit. Is your health over 3000? If yes, don't expect to ever be able to die in 2 seconds.

hardening/annulment/ward = your uppercut does 0 damage.

2sec deaths are a reality and PVP deserves better than that.
Problem (imo) is a very unresponsive game, where you press Break Free and (if it works) it lasts 1 or 2 seconds to fill the animation.
In those 1-2 seconds you can't do *** but wait for the animation to finish and start casting something. By then you are probably dead.
As has been suggested before:
-Increase health in Cyrodiil, by 2k at least.
-Make some animations (like Break Free) instant.
-Make the whole game much more responsive than it is now.

Problem solved and more interesting fights overall.

I agree that bow's are overperforming a bit atm in PVP, but the key to being a good PVPer is learning how to deal with everything until/if it is balanced.

-Wear heavy and/or block when you are immobile/idle and not stealthed. So for example, if you are standing in the the back not stealthed for some reason while your mates siege a keep not moving or doing anything, hold your block button down until you need to do something.

-If you are firing siege, after you fire your siege get off of it and hold block until you need to fire it again. Do not just sit there on the siege.

EDIT: Also, do not go into PVP again without at least 4 pieces of impenetrable on.

As a NB Stealth Hunter (ganker) well... I am kind of sorry but not really. I love killing players with one shot... I do it a few times a day, but not too often. It basically becasue I set up and put a lot of my build towards that. My weapon, Armour, passives and skill lines all contribute to it. I can get over 2k in one shot sometimes, over 900 is normal on a opening shot. Its what I do.. I am a bow specialist... I cannot last long against many DKs or Templars, but I rarely hunt alone.

I won't offer you any advice to counter what I do because that would not serve my aims, which is to kill as many enemies as possible. However if you play well I can be taken out if I am not careful.

i never bother with stealther NBs, if they restealth and dont want to fight i do /dancealtmer and wait for them to kill me so I can quickly spawn at FC and help the defense, actually gankers help ppl getting where they need to and saves them time from running/riding, thanks!

and yes, i dont consider sitting in stealth doing 2k+ opening shots+macro spam skill..

What stupid suggestion "just wear heavy armor"
So you wont get 3-shot by bows, but now you get 3-shot by mages curse-fragments-fury combo.

Damage is way too high if you dont stack shields.

I have sorc,dk,nb in VR levels and started to skill them all to the fotm last week.
Is it my batswarm sorc who fills up his whole ultimate with 1 streak, my dk with standard skills who are op since release or my stamina nb who kills people before they finish their break free animation. Everything is absolute stupid.

Instagib snip at its best broken mechanics and every class is op in some sort of damage.
No wonder people ball into impulse spamming zergs, its the only way to survive if you dont use snipping mechanics like shield stacking.

Problem is there are hardly any balanced builds. Its either full glascannon or tanky, with glascannon killing to fast and tanky surviving too long.

Solution?
Idk exactly, maybe tune down damage and healing (and shield stacking) so people live longer but cant defend(selheal) til eternity.
