I believe that vanity pets should be able to do damage.. precisely, the Monkey.
The Monkey should be able to throw his own *** matter causing the opponent to be stunned for at least 4 secs (long enough for him/her to realize the seriousness of what just occurred). Furthermore, depending on where your monkey came from, he may also be able to cause disease in addition to the stun.
I'm sure that we can all agree that a disease infested, *** pelting monkey with a bad attitude would be a welcome addition in our land of Tameriel and then everyone would be happy, especially me !

I gave you a LOL. Now all you have to do is figure out if it means I laughed or I disliked/disagreed with your post.

So I just hit VR12 and was deciding which armour sets I should be going for when I came across the Necropotence set. It bonuses are: 84 Max Magicka, 84 Max Magicka, 84 Max Magicka and then 12 % Max Magicka buff when pets are out. So I bought all of the armour via the new guild traders (great system btw Zenimax) and then equipped them, all the time under the assumption that this final buff would occur when I had my vanity pet out. To my horror I discovered that this was not the case. I pulled out my mudcrab and then put it away and my stats did not change. Now being a Templar I cannot summon pets at my leisure (only the Sorceror can), which lead me to question whether this was an intentional gameplay feature or just a bug. If it is the former I have to say that I am absolutely appalled by Zenimax- why the hell would you make an armour set only one class can use? Is this really living up to your mantra "Play the way you want to play"?! I was absolutely thrilled to get to VR12, but this has really burst my bubble. My problem is not that it doesn't count for vanity pets it is that only one class can use this armour set. Zenimax could you please either completely change this final buff or at least look into making it so that it counts for other classes too?
