    I like the main game, so I would like more content and fixes.

    I'm not against PVP fixes though, I just prefer PVE.

    Balancing for PvP is a waste of time, you can never please everyone all of the time and it just ends up nerfing classes unnecessarily for PvE.

    I do play PvP , but i would prefer more PvE content by far really , even more if it is solo content , since craglorn stuff doesnt add anything me personally since it all requires groups.

    Another poll.

    Both could benefit greatly from balance. By that, I mean making some things like medium and heavy armor more enticing, and things like that. Not really nerfs and huge power swings just yet. They are taking to long at adDRESSing this.


    Fixing some bugs also would be mutually beneficial. Optimizing combat and weapon swapping better, also mutually beneficial.

    Um, so, there are like several teams of developers, working simultaneously on different aspects of the game. Things get bundled for release on live when they are feature-complete and went through QA and the PTS (if applicable).

    I guess you could state a preference for the type if content you prefer, but never think that working on a MMO (or any kind of big software project, for that matter) is a serial, or single-tasking, process.

    Need more content and Fix all the bug in PvE asap. After VR12 I don't have much to play. Everyday same Trails. I already leave PvP (cause of horrible lag, FPS issue and latest campaign trap)

    Both are important, and I'm sure that both are being concurrently worked on (different teams of devs work on different things), but I really never PVP so my personal preference is for PVE content and fixes.

    Need more incentive to PVE group, and more places to do it once done with main Story... plain and simple.
    After starting on my 3rd and final faction, on my second Vet level character, I've realized i played through the PVE stuff for both alliances, multiple times.
    ALONE, except for single runs through dungeons for the quest.

    I'm kinda bored playing alone... Hell i resubbed to Everquest this weekend just so i could do SOMETHING social.
    I really enjoy group content in MMOs, its the thing that keeps me coming back. Stuff i know i CANNOT do without the help of others.
    I think Elder Scrolls focused A LOT of developement on the singleplayer experience, which is great, and much better done than the majority of MMOs.

    But to continue to call itself an MMO and sustain subscriptions, there is a large PVE player base that i think would love team objectives. Just options to advance with friends, besides just doing solo quests together.
    Maybe a huge zone full of World Boss type mobs (these would be the "normal" mobs) and the actual bosses/named would be raid equivalent, requiring 12+man groups.

    Questing together needs to have phasing removed, otherwise its more of a hassle to stay together than to solo.

    This is just my opinion. I really want more reason to play with people, or i feel that the $15 a month for a single player game is outrageous.
    Would you pay $15 after the initial purchase for Skyrim, Oblivion, or Morrowind? nope, didn't think so.

    I somewhat disagree. It's not a waste of time, it's simply not possible. You can never balance PvP in an RPG. Skill based PvP (the only kind worth playing) and RPG don't mix.

    Not even a contest. PvP fixes by a long shot. No matter what Zos does they will never have enough "new" PvE content fast enough. PvP and Cyrodiil on the other hand has more replay value and potential.

    On the bright side it does look like in the road ahead they will bring some replay value into the existing PvE areas which is good.

    PvP balance and PvE content I care about equally, but less then some performance optimization.

    you realize they have different development departments for each and therefore this is a silly question right?

    PvP balance cannot happen without ability tweaks, which requires them to consult and work with the PvE department to find something that works for both. For all intents and purposes, when it comes to balance they are one big team.

    I voted pvp fixes even tho I am a pve solo mostly player. why? cuz pvp player base staying and bringing their friends only will keep the game more healthy in the end, and a steady stream of new players to fight it out. pve playerbase tends to be lower numbers but more long term dedicated to the game, we need to keep that steady stream of pvp happy

    So very true.
    I have seen this happen in several games over the past 11 years. A vague balancing is good but constantly striving for it is aiming for a goal that shifts ever further away and wastes Dev time and resources to the overall detriment of the game.

    Even though it's a small sample size, I'm pretty shocked at how many people voted for new pve content. Granted, the other option contained the word pvp in it, but with all of the balance issues, I can't even enjoy/participate in the CURRENT end game pve content.

    For all of you that voted for new pve content, have you been able to complete trials with half or more of the dps being from stamina builds? No? Then - maybe everyone just likes playing with dresses and staves and I'm an outlier o.O
