Painful. So painful. I'm debating quitting.... it hurts so much.
A few minutes ago, I opened my mailbox to a mail I sent myself a 200-stack of "Ta" to on a secondary account, figuring I would sell them in zone chat while leveling a relative's character for her some.
The horror... the sheer horror, pictured (warning: graphic image not appropriate for children or sane adults):

✭✭I knew I seen that number before, someone withdrew all their Ta runes from the guild vendor as they weren't selling, he put up a couple of stack and when the game sent them back that exact same number came up. -

BulbousMeathead✭✭✭it looks like the result of some sort of uninitialised or incorrectly-initialised 32-bit integer in the code.
4,294,967,240 is the highest number that can be expressed with an unsigned 32-bit integer MINUS 255. Or, another way of looking at it is a 4-byte integer in which the first 3 bytes are all binary '1' s and the 4th byte is all zeroes.

BulbousMeathead✭✭✭Actually, I'm thinking that they have some sort of signed integer with a negative amount (ie negative representing "withdrawing" of items or something like that) and then they have accidentally cast it into an unsigned integer further dowm the track.

✭I haven't encountered the "Ta" problem yet, but often when I recieve fresh hireling stuff, it says "1657 days ago" (or 1567, something like that) instead of 1 minute ago. Apparently there's something wrong with numbers in mails. Well, at least the attachments are still there and not expired since they last only 3 days, as far as I know
