[BUG] Possible Bug Whitestrake’s Retribution and Destruction Staff

I am running into an issue I've noticed since I have been wearing Whitestrake’s Retribution. Every time the shield kicks in for low health my destruction staff stops working. I can mouse click for it to fire and my character just sits there doing nothing until the shield goes away. I can reproduce this without fail every time. I've tested it with my restoration staff and I do not have that issue.
Here are pics of the destruction staff I am using and the info on Whitestrake’s Retribution I wear. I have tried flame and ice destruction staffs as well and they all stop working as soon as the shield on my armor kicks in.

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭I've reported this in game as well with a bug report. There is something wrong when the shield comes on in relation to the destruction staff working.0

wookiefriseur✭✭✭✭For me not even the shield seems to toggle. But I have to do more testing before I can rule out just a missing shield animation.
