Fighter's Guild - The Prismatic Core Bugged

Yesterday this quest was working fine. Today another character is stuck at the last part, Find Aelif. Merric won't budge from the Forge and Aelif is just standing there, non-interactable. EU megaserver.

I'm having the same problem on the NA server. I've played through 3 times with same exact result.

I received this back from a support rep, it did not work for me but I would be interested if it has for anyone else (if so, I'll keep trying)....

"You should also be aware of an issue where Aelif is not possible to interact with during the "Find Aelif" step, and we hope to have this resolved in a patch in the near future. If she will not speak, I recommend waiting by Aelif for a few minutes and see if the scene continues. We have had the issue of Aelif's step not starting in the past with players if they interrupt the scene before it starts."

I'm having the same problem on the NA server and I've already been standing next to her for half an hour. Nothing happens and indeed Merric won't move from the Earth Forge. This is mildly annoying. Also there is this weird glitch of a (dungeon) quest next to Aelif as you can see in the screenshot.

I am also having the same problem on the NA server.
I have redone the quest three times with no avail, always get stuck
at "travel with Merric to find Aelif part" after talking to Merric.
All I can add is I notice Merric's heath is stuck at 43% and that I seem to have
been put in the enemy faction because hovering on dead Guild Blades brings up
my skill bar, but hovering on dead skeletons doesn't!
So much for completing Fighters Guild on this character.
I completed with no problem on my main.

I am also having the same problem where Merric is static at the forge and Aelif won't interact with me.

This quest worked perfectly for me on my main, so I guess I was lucky then and unlucky now.

I have tried all the suggestions from every thread that offers a possible solution.

Sad that I am wasting so much time on these glitched quests.

I have now completed The Prismatic Core.

When it glitched out, I waited by Aelif for approximately 5 minutes. Nothing happened, Merric did not follow or lead the way out from the forge.

I stayed by the side of Aelif, then 'Quit' the game from the menu and waited approximately 15 minutes before logging back in.

This seemed to automatically reset the quest from the start, where you talk to Merric before following him into the forge.

I then let every single interaction with Merric play through from start to finish without interrupting his dialogue.

After defending the forge and again, letting Merric finish every single dialogue without interruption, the quest continued where Merric ran out of the forge to Aelif, where I again, let every single dialogue finish uninterrupted...

So for me, this method of letting every single NPC dialogue complete, uninterrupted worked and "The Prismatic Core" quest completed. I hope it also works for you.
