Multiple quests in Deshaan aren't appearing for me

This has been a problem for me for the last several months. Many quests in Deshaan (the ones for the Tribunal Temple, Eidolon's Hollow, Selfora, and the Shrine of Saint Veloth) havent been showing up on my map, so I cant do them. Not only that but my mages guild questline also abruptly stopped once it moved it Deshaan as well. All other quests in other areas work fine but Deshaan seems to be perma-bugged. Any ideas here?

iirc mages guild progression requires you to have picked up lorebooks, so if you have missed a load you may not get the questgiver show up. Also as I expect you know, there are quests given at various levels, and you won't be given the next one until you are an appropriate level.

In terms of the Deshaan quests, I have recently done them all without issue so it is not an issue that affects everyone - what have you already done in that zone and did you finish the storyline in Stonefalls? It sounds like it's the main questline for that faction that is bugged for you, what is the last quest you did that worked correctly? They are a chain of quests so I don't know whether the quests at the end of the chain are even supposed to show up if you haven't done the earlier ones. I recall that I was sent from Sark->Narsis->Obsidian Gorge->Mournhold->Selfora->Shrine of St Veloth->Eidolon's Hollow in that order.

Well I am level 42 overall, and level 4 in the mages guild so I doubt that is the problem. I finished every quest in stonefalls, and the ebonheart pact line in Deshaan. I have since moved on to the rift and have had no problems with quests in the other (I actually just got to coldharbor).

Part of the quests aren't just showing on map when you closing to the quest hub, for some of them you have to complete previous quests in the chain and be directed to next quest giver in next hub. Deshaan is one of these zones.

Always worth popping back to all the cities you have been and wandering around of rthose unfilled quest markers that don't always generate until other quests have been completed.

Quite a few quests are out in the open too and not always found unless you explore the whole map.

Have you done all the sight of interest, skyshard and wayfinder achievements for all areas ?

Also ...I think you should be stonefalls, Deshaan, and not in the Rift ? You should have gone south of Deshaan....don't think that's the rift....I'll look later. Stone falls is upto level 16 I think...Deshaan is 16-24...then you should be into a 26+ area. It ties in with available material levels per zone for your weaponry and armour. Hence rawhide > hide > leather etc.

...that's it...shadowfen should come after deshaan out the south Deshaan gate.

If you skipped those quests at the time and moved on to another area, it is possible that you have blocked off the earlier faction quests as you skipped to a later part of the story - for example if you already did Eastmarch, then the story will already have moved way way past any quests in Deshaan, with the Hammer of St Veloth that is part of the main storyline in Deshaan playing a part in quests in Eastmarch.

You say that you did the EP faction quests in each zone, but the ones you list in your first post ARE the EP faction quests.

It's possible that if you skipped that portion of the faction quest, you cannot go back and do it - and doing so would make no sense in terms of the story (well at least not unless you wanted to play a game based on the movie Memento).
