During the quest Blight of the Bosmer, a part of the quest chain you are required to activate three "standing stones" at different locations. The stones are named after which location they are in the area. My problem seems to occur with the "east standing stone". When I attempt to activate this stone for the first time, I get an error sound (much like when you are too far away from a wayshrine to use it) and the button to activate the stone goes grey for a few seconds. The button lights back up, and there is no quest progress. I attempt to activat the tone again, this time with no error sound. The activation button goes grey for about a minute, nothing happens, no quest progress is made, and then the button lights up again allowing me to attempt to activate the stone again. I can do this dozens of time, and have, an nothing happens. I have abandon the quest, reloaded my UI, exited the game, repaired my game files, all to no avail. The stone still will not activate and I am not able to progress this quest further. Being that this quest is the chain of quests that allows you to complete this zone, it has been a thorn in my side when playing the game. I have trouble allowing myself to just "move on to the next zone" and continue questing, as I prefer to complete a zone before I move on to the next.
I have been stuck on this quest for a lot longer than I'd like. It has been a week since sending my most recent support ticket, and 6 days since the last e-mail I got in response saying my ticket was "escalate" for a third time with that incident [Incident: 140808-002406]. I have sent inquiries about the progress of my quest, with no response, making me feel like my ticket will expire and once again go unaddressed. I understand this issue is somewhat isolated, as very few incidents have been reported with this specific problem. I feel like giving me no response as to what I should do, or what is currently being done about it, is really poor customer service. I really enjoy ESO and I have created a guild here with lots of friends. Even without this working quest, or any motivation to progress whatsoever, I still log in and enjoy myself socializing with my guild. So I won't be barking about how I'm entitled to this or should be reimbursed for that. That's not my thing. All I want is an answer. Some acknowledgement that I've been waiting a very long time, which to me is very unnecessary.
I'd appreciate any feedback on this issue. If any other players have found a work-around, I would be eternally grateful. Or if any forum GM can give me insight on my tickets. i submit a brand new one this morning in homes of getting some attention on my previous ticket which has seemingly been abandon by support.

[Edit #2] I was helped in-game by a Gamemaster Nimajickin. I couldn't be more grateful. We found out the issue was caused by interference with my add-ons, and we both felt a little sheepish when we didn't think of trying that sooner. I just wanted to acknowledge this GM for how much time and effort they put into helping me resolve my issue once and for all. Great customer support is a valuable thing when you're an MMO gamer and the appreciation is not lost on me.
