Night's Silence / Concealment sneak speed boost bug

So, I invested heavily in making a 5 piece set up Night's Silence...and respec'd to change veiled strike to concealed weapon...to boost my sneak speed.

Works great!

Except...after a while, you loose the speed.

Best I can tell, the sneak speed boost is lost when you swap weapons while sneaking.

I'm in the same boat here and have made the same report regarding this loss of set bonus bug.

I have also reported this bug in game. You seem to lose the concealed weapon speed bonus after using Dark Cloak. I also have problems if switching weapons while stealthed, lose speed as well as lose ability to attack until I unstealth.

EDIT: Appears the bug happens when your 5th night's silence item is your weapon...in both weapon sets

For instance:

I have 4 Night's silence armor pieces.

And Weapon Set 1 = Night Silence Bow
And Weapon Set 2 = Night Silence Dagger // Stygian Dagger

When sneaking, and swapping from weapon set to weapon set...the bug kicks in, and you loose your sneak speed boost.

I just built a Night's Silence Belt, and equipped all non-night's silence weapons, and was unable to recreate this bug.

Please fix!

And here's something sure to get the devs attention. Just found an exploit.

I can have a Night's Silence Bow for the 5th item in a set.

Switch to dual-wielding NON-night's silence daggers.

And have the 60% bonus to sneak speed regardless of which weapon set I'm using.

I experience the same problem. Speed bonus is lost when swapping weapons and will not return, even when "restarting" sneaking.
As oren, I have 4 armor parts and the 5th is the weapon (in both weapon sets)

I basically shelved this set (3 yellows and 2 purples grrr!!!) until this is fixed. Sucks.

It's not just when having the effect on a weapon; all 5 pieces of the set are on armor pieces for me.

I've been having other issues in addition to the loss of the speed associated with it, probably all related to swapping weapons.

In cyrodiil particularly, since I don't usually swap weapons in PvE, I have a recurring issue of not being able to open keep doors, nor use the transitus shrines. I press "E", but nothing happens.

Also, if I do swap weapons, most of the time my toon will still be holding the weapon in the second bar, whether I'm using the first bar or not.

I've made a different set of armor to see if I still have an issue, but has anyone else been having a similar problem?

When it happens to me I just remove one armor piece and re-equip and its fixed.

The problem is with concealed weapon. If you don't have it on both bars you don't get the CS bonus if you switch back to the bar it is on while stealth. Unstealthing and restealthing resets it. Havent seen any problem with the set itself.

I have the same problem and I am using just armor- no NS weapons. I also have the problem that I cant attack after swapping bars in stealth (I also lose the ability to interact with objects, doors, wayshrines etc.) I have to pop out of stealth, swap weapons, and then back into stealth.

One of many many small annoying bugs.. imho ZOS should do something like https://launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/

weapons locking up, armor bonuses not working sometimes, interface settings getting lost (have to put alliance markers to Enemy each time I step into cyrodiil), etc etc...

I would like to report that this bug is not just related to weapon swapping.
I had this happen 1 minute ago in cyrodiil after using Dark Cloak.

good find, i know for a fact its going to get removed and destroyed. theres nothing we can do to stop them from destroying nightblade class. we dont have equal skills as the other classes and we dont have the survivability of the other classes so for me i am convinced they love those classes, and not the nightblade.

Dark Cloak gets used while sneaking > concealed weapon bonus speed gets removed, have to get out of stealth and sneak again to get it. I reported this a couple of months back a few times (in-game & forums) my test also involved Dark Stalker, so I thought it was a bug that occurred only if you had the vampirism passive.

Anyway, good to know it's getting fixed, also, I'm hopping that concealed weapon & dark stalker will continue to work after Night's Silenced gets removed out of the equation.
