Congrats on fixing the spawn timers in Shadowfen, caught my last fish for EP achievement shortly after the servers came up.
Congrats as well, on the starting island achievement. That one applied this time too.
Serious problem, though. Guts don't drop from little critters any more. Got more than 800 of the things, but others might not have stocked up. Once the current stash of guts runs out, there'll be no way to catch the lake fishies (other than minnows).

Its not just guts. I was at Stros M'Kai and beetles, scorpions, mudcrabs and wolves weren't dropping anything.1 -

Guts and Crawlers are not dropping now, good thing I've got like a thousand of em.0

✭It was my plan to rule the world by selling Guts and Crawlers for insane prices to all the newbie fisherman who want the new colours.
I talked to all the rabbits, squirrels, and other critters to apply the 5 level limit on loot that normally only effects non trade-skill based loot. Guts and Crawlers are no longer classes as 'trade skill' loot so it stops dropping when your more then 5 levels over the critter your killing.
You can still farm guts and crawlers, but only with a L5 or under toon.1 -

If so, God help us all with our level 3 alts going to Coldharbor to farm zombies for worms.1 -
MeowGinger✭✭✭Coldharbour zombies still drop both worms and crawlers, and taking insect parts also works normally. I'm concerned about not being able to get guts though... I really hope this is fixed soon.0

✭✭✭✭I gave away all my guts to a guildmate who wanted to go fishing.
Guts were available everywhere, so I thought I would be able to restock in no time.
Unfortunately they are now really hard to come by - try finding any creature within 5 levels of you that regularly drops guts! Most of the creatures that used to drop them were lvl 1 "ambient" fauna.

Auralia✭✭✭I have a stack of 100 but if I use them, I'll have to make a new alt just for gut farming. That's just silly and disappointing that fauna are now gutless for higher lvls, surely this is an error? As Iam one of the rare people that enjoys fishing, as I find it relaxing.0 -

Auralia✭✭✭apparently all creatures like rabbits, squirrels, deer, bantams,tiny spiders are counted as lvl 1 after the patch and if you are higher than lvl 5 you can no longer get guts, crawlers or rawhide, meat and eggs from these creatures unless you make a low lvl alt. Guts dropped for the new lvl 3 character I made.1

Probably will get fixed eventually but I bet it takes a few weeks,
This does mean, however, that my endless killing of deer, antelope, sheep and goats can stop because they wont drop rawhide or meat. Snakes too.
And before I forget, "I kill frogs".

gladen5rwb17_ESO✭✭✭It's funny that this game was based on not wanting alts, (or needing) yet, provisioning for each zone is level based so higher level chars wanting to begin provisioning cannot collect from containers, lower level ingredients. Fishing is now level dependent also in order to get the materials required.
