Speculative predictions for Update 3 and its follow-up patches

So, what are your thoughts on any/all of these while folks wait for the server upgrade/download of the new patch?

• What will patch 1.3.3 have that hasn't been listed in PTS notes for 1.3, 1.3.1, or 1.3.2?
  • 1a. Bonus: What change will be overlooked and added in note corrections?
• What corrections will be made in quick patches (1.3.4, 1.3.5, 1.36, etc) in the weeks immediately following Update 3?
  
• What consequences do you see for game play and character creation/loadout choices?

Hmm, I guess I should try it myself. Ummm...

For #1 I will say more fixes to the FPS issue and the world freeze/unknown error crashes as well as something for Vampires or Sorcerers getting "nerfed". Bat swarm maybe? No, scratch that. I'll go with an undocumented change to a racial passive. Argonian, maybe?

The former is an "I hope for" example since I never had either problem in beta/early access but since that first patch with the memory leak my graphics & animation have generally gotten worse over time. Went from high to minimum graphics and have been there for weeks, and to avoid the world freezes I have to play on the six year old computer hooked directly to the cable modem to avoid having to force quit the game several times an hour

The latter is just a random guess.

For #2, a fix for some newly over or under-performing ability that was unexpectedly altered by the broad changes being made to stamina builds and equipment sets.

For #3, I see less CC spamming and longer fights in Cyrodiil with more tactics and less button mashing.

Its probably going to be pretty close to what they already have, 1 or 2 fixes may not be int here but I think a few extra fixes will be going into the final notes. Maybe a few extra stamina tweaks or some more broken quests. I kind of hope Spindleclutch gets fixed. Every time I try to run that dungeon we wipe and the boss won't reset so we all have to quit and start over again.

What do u mean about Vampires or Sorcerers getting "nerfed"? Or are u talking about how they broke the sorc Atronach ultimate?

What do u mean about Vampires or Sorcerers getting "nerfed"? Or are u talking about how they broke the sorc Atronach ultimate?

There are always undocumented adjustments for major patches and in the past these have included changes to class abilities, so, since I was guessing about what might "missed" in the initial patch notes this time, I was going to go with that. But I changed it to undocumented changes for racial passives.

I really hope they pin down the "unknown error" crashes to the log-in screen. Within the last couple of weeks, I've had this happen to me numerous times, and prior to that (since beta and early release) I never had any problems. Guild mates tell me it is happening to them, and there's quite a long thread from our European friends about this issue on the new, EU server.

I'm on the NA server but I've also read folks saying this has cropped up/gotten worse for the EU server since the migration. Here's hoping to some bonus tweaks to the system today or in the near future.

Not me. When it happens I do test my broadband connection, and I'm running with 30Mbps on Comcast. Though having a poor connection would most likely exacerbate the problem, I think there is something else going on here. Many of the EU people with this problem say that they go over to other MMOs to play and have no problems.

The last email I got from support asked if I used Add-ONs (I do), so I'm going to check that when I get back from my camping trip.

Humm, I expect this update will make the game start to feel like ESO, being able to kill NPC's and being deadly afraid of guards in towns, going to need a new skeak / pickpocket tree now

I'd like for them to see that buffed gear sets to benefit stam users a bit more won't be enough. They will NEED to increase damage and reduce cost, though the gear sets are a step in a positive direction.

I see this patch changing very little just adding more some well needed customization. the set changes will not fix the stamina balances. That will only be addressed with specific soft cap in creases with certain armors being equipped,and a rework of Medium and heavy armor passives. Which i think they are not willing to do ,they have made that very clear. So 1.3 is mainly fluff and a test of what they think they should do for itemization.

as for the future patches? well i am sure there will be tweaks up until 1.4 which i anticipate will be another fluff patch like guild tabards and features not real content more fluff. I anticipate we will get nothing but fluff content until next year and the actual console release. then we will get the freemium anouncement and a largely cosmetic items that cannot be earned in game, possibly a gambling system,and Paywalled content for those freemium players that dont sub

Then the DLC content will start , they will charge both sub and free player for new zones (trials,dungeons), new guilds and new skill lines. as we have not seen even 25% of the content they promised from the first road ahead http://dulfy.net/2014/06/04/eso-june-4-the-road-ahead/
I am not anticipating any of that quake con rhetoric to touch the live before june 2015 and we will definately be paying for it outside of your sub that is for sure.
