Enchanting is not fun

My account, for all intents and purposes, is a crafting account.

Ta is not useless for quite some time if you level multiple crafters. I use Ta to level each toon to 12 (e.g., to get each to 32 for 3/3 hireling). Now they are pretty useless to me but it took a while. I can also sell them to others doing the same thing or give them to guildies.

While it may be that there are fewer enchanting nodes or a lower pop frequency, I have a doubt. I can buy rekuta for leveling at 1k and Kuta at 3k in almost unlimited quantities. I think botting/hacking is more likely the reason harvesting enchants is a pain. Every once in a while I could swear I see a toon head for half a second as a node disappears in front of me.

Enchanting leveling would have been faster if glyphs dropped like equipment does: High chance of being green, with chance of being blue and purple.

Yeah, but then it would be a worthless skill because equipment reaches levels too fast. I reach rank 30 too fast and I was level 35. Rank 30 allows to you make veteran rank armor and weapons while it takes you to make veteran rank glyphs at rank 20. The difficulty that enchant brings makes it more worthwhile than other trade skills.

I wish you could 'transmute' items (10,000 Ta to get 1000 Jejota to get 100 Denata to get 10 Rekuta to get 1 Kuta)
Does anyone even keep Ta or do they destroy them by the stack?

Anyone found some good groups of mobs that drop glyphs often for farming to level up enchanting? I am at L43 and want to get to L50 for the silly colour as I am CDO (same as OCD but the letters are in the right order)

No need of transmute spell, I exchange you 1 kuta for 10 rekuta or 10.000 ta anytime :)
So your swap 4,294,967,240 ta for 429,496 Kuta?

I will make it a bargain and swap them just for 100,000 Kuta.

I disagree. The only thing it will impact is the ability to sell overpriced green to purple runes that are just going to be deconed (splendid and below). Those wanting to trade barely even exist anymore. They need to start dropping as green to purple. They already plan at some point to raise the inspiration gained to normal levels, but this would be a good alternative to that.

The problem I see with that is that you won't even need an enchanter anymore for higher grade glyphs, because they just drop. This works for equipment because you still need a crafter for specific sets or a different style you want. There is no such distinction between player-made and dropped glyphs.

I agree with the proposed changes. I feel that my enchanting profession is insignificant. It's 34 on my veteran even though I am constantly deconstructing every rune me and my friends find (and I am already 46 woodworking on my lvl 26 alt). It's a pain to have matching runes for the level and/or effect you want, meaning most of the time I can't even craft the runes my friends want for their gear.

What you just proved is that inspiration is too fast on woodworking because your not suppose to have 46 in woodworking at lv 26. You have no need to have woodworking that high at 26. I am vet and I have my enchanting at 38 because I actually go out and farm for glyphs instead of whining about its too hard. You do not even need to be greater than 34 of enchanting unless your a vet 7 and above and even then all have to do is get rank 35 to be able make glyphs for vet 7 to 9 and 40 if you want to be able to make glyphs for vet 10. All of the good perks for enchanting ends at rank 32 after that you only need to level to 50 to make glyphs for a higher level. While for other profession you need to get to 40 to get all of the perks that are worthwhile. If you focus on a profession you make to a higher level. I actually focus on it without help from a buddy and got my rank high. I did not even have to focus for other profession at all which is why every wants to make enchanting as easy as the other profession which they should not because it is fine the way is because enchanting not the same as the other professions.

Enchanting is the only real crafting challenge in this game. Please ZOS don't make this any easier. After the bots were killed off (or mostly killed off?), I'm finding more than enough runes. Thanks.

    Otherwise some good suggestions here.

Using Glyphs like health, magika or stamina enchantments on ps4 only apply at half of what it says it does. Why is this so?

The 3 major pieces (head, chest, legs) should give you full value on the enchants. The other pieces give you like 40%.
Weapons and shields are also full value.
Could this be what you are seeing?

You should have been there in the beginning, they actually made leveling enchanting a lot faster.

    Oh man, good ol' days.
