So I'm not sure what happened, I went from being able to play a few days ago to my launcher just freezing and giving me the error 210 Cannot download manifest. I have it set to run as admin, I have tried to delete the program data folder, I have tried repair. It just keeps popping up error 210. Half the time I am unable to close the launcher fully with out shutting it down manually in the task manager.

Hi there, @DBHAShadow. Have you tried to download the manifest file and place it in ProgramData folder of your launcher directory?

The manifest file can be downloaded here: http://launcher.bethesda.net/Bethesda.net_Launcher/Bethesda.net_Launcher.patchmanifest

In the process of trying this now, I removed the programdata folder, relaunched the launcher. Closed it, and put the file into the new programdata folder. So far, when it launches I do not get a play button, or repair button.

Update, it still gave me the errorcode and told me the same thing, despite me placing the manifest file in the folder.

To clarify I put it in the right place, Zenimax Online> Launcher> ProgramData ?

That is the correct location, yes. Since you are still experiencing this error after manually putting the manifest file into the Zenimax Online\Launcher\ProgramData folder, we're going to ask you to please contact our Customer Support Team. Please include the Game Consultant file, as this will help our team understand what is happening here.

I'm having this problem as well. Tried everything mentioned to no avail, save for manually downloading the manifest, but i'm not getting anything at the manifest link above. Is it down?

I had this same error and tried everything recommended to no avail. I did a couple things simultaneously, so I'm not sure which fixed it, but if anyone else is having this problem, it might help to do what I did.

One thing I noticed is that my Avast! antivirus software needed updating. I also changed my DNS server and restarted my router. When I restarted my computer after doing these three things, the launcher was able to load properly and begin downloading the necessary patch files. No more error 210! Hope this helps someone else

While downloading the manifest file kind of worked, I would like to know why this is happening.

I'm on the EU, never had a problem before. After downloading that file it now insists on downloading the entire 26GB again.

To be honest, while I'm on a fast enough unlimited service, it's really not good enough to expect those on a more restrictive ISP to have to go through this.

This was happening since beta for many players.

Support had me uninstall the game, and remove all components. I then reinstalled, at first ran into the same issue (error 210) I then put the manifest in manually, and still had issues. However when I clicked repair, and ran the repair it ran properly and ended up fixing my issue. Also just as it could have been related I created an exception for my zenimax online folders in both of my Anti virus programs.
