Actually, when you play on the Ebonheart Pact side, the invasion of the Akaviri is a major part of the story. You actually do quests where you talk to the reanimated spirits of Pact soldiers who died when Vivec flooded the coast to drown the invaders, and they do mention there being monstrous snake people and "demons."
I know.
And it's funny how they mix up the two Akaviri invasions at that. While talking about "snake people", the invasion halted on Morrowind's beaches should be the one of the Kamal, not the Tsaesci.
As said. Ambiguous at best.
In Oblivion, the Tsaesci are represented by human ghosts for example.
Are they really vampire snakes? Have they enslaved or assimilated a human culture on Akavir? Or are the more animalistic descriptions of Akaviri just a way to demonize the invaders?

An Akaviri motif would be a great idea, and lore-friendly, too. Seems to me all other games had Blades armor and weapons, which are Akaviri-influenced.
Hey all, personally always had a massive interest in the lands East of Tamriel known as Akavir, many of you who even slightly follow the lore will know of them.
Not any time soon, but potentially in the future would you players like to see these lands released to us? As a new zone or (Zones)?
The lore of the place is great, there's a Demon type race, Serpant men, Monkey people and Tiger Dragons! I imagine it's something that would take A VERY long time to make, more like an expansion pack. But I wouldn't put it past Zenimax to do it as they're a very skilled.
Like I said I don't mean anytime soon, possibly in 2 years minimum.
Give me your opinions please!
