Hey there.

Here in EU, we cannot use our naitive keyboardcodes when chatting, like the Scandinavian: Ææ, Øø & Åå. I know alot of french players with the same issues. How can we fix this issue?

It kindda takes the fun out of running region-based guilds, if the players can't use their own chars...

PS
For some odd reason, the 'Ææ' Works fine

    From the support:

To change change your keyboard language settings, please just follow these steps below:

    If you are in game:
First press the period button (.) and navigate down to the bottom right of your Windows bar
Note: You may need to switch to windowed mode first by hitting ALT+Enter to do this
Right-click the question mark in the blue circle
Then choose Settings, from here you should be able to select a specific language
    Click OK and apply settings

If the language bar is hidden or not on the taskbar, here are the instructions to display it on Windows 7 and 8:
Click Start, and then click Control Panel
Under Clock, Language, and Region, click Change keyboard or other input methods
Note: These options can also be found by typing “Region and Language” in the Windows search box
In the Region and Language dialog box, click Change keyboards
In the Text Services and Input Languages dialog box, click the Language Bar tab
Under Language Bar, check if the Hidden option is clicked. If it is, click either Floating on Desktop or Docked in the taskbar.
If you have more than one language available in your PC, it can be changed on the fly by default by pressing ALT+Shift. This will work either in-game or in Windows.
To remove the ALT+Shift key binding, you can follow the below steps:
Right-click the language bar on your taskbar (or access it from the Control Panel as above)
Select Settings" then Advanced Key Settings
Select the entry labeled Between Input languages and click Change Key Sequence
Change both input and keyboard to Not Assigned and apply the changes

You should now be able to chat in-game in your chosen language. If you have any further questions or issues, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

Haven' tested it yet, so stay tuned...

I also use similar signs like the Slovenian dude, but I think it's better without all those signs there english should be universal language no matter in which part you are.

How this should help if the game does not support the necessary characters? What's test? What is not clear from the fact that the characters are not supported for entering the game itself? Windows then there is how to blame?

You are affected, but you may not have noticed it :) In fact, 'ö', 'ä', 'ü' are supported by the client. So, I guess there already is unicode support, but the game fonts don't support all those 'exotic' characters.

Of course it didn't work. I'm not convinced the support guy even understood the problem.

Changing the character set for an already running MMO is a very bad idea. I'm Swedish, and I'm affected by the lack of Åå, but I am not asking them to fix it. With their track record, fixing this would almost certainly break something else in a bad way.
