He's one of the NPCs that made me laugh during the main quest. You can call him sleazy bag, but I don't think he would care since he gets the ladies where he wants them. He's the man

I dislike sleazy men, sure he's good looking but he seems like a douch most of the time, but I admire him for what he does in cold harbour at the end which shows under his douchness he is a good person.

I think he is pretty amusing. I laughed a great deal with (and at) him. I like to think as an "older woman" I could teach him better but I hadn't the time. Off saving the world and all that...

Gautier is one of those guys you just have to take as he is.

Razum-Dar is equally amusing, but I don't think I'd want to get jiggy with a catman, as much as I wouldn't mind them as friends.

Yeah I think this thread was meant to be a bit funny and light-hearted based on the silliness of Darien and his completely silly actions. I did not interpret this as having any connection to real life or as presenting a political point of view.

Anyway, darien is okay, no jakarn or sai sahan, but not bad. He's more charming in a hang out with him sort of way. He has a good sense of humor, but way too much ego.

I'm conflicted. He was clearly a sleaze when I first met him, but he's amusing and grew on me, especially in Coldharbor. Despite his flaws he's competent, brave and ready to do what needs to be done. I like him. He's completely not my type though.

Well Darien isn't exactly my type either. But I always look forward to talking to him when I see him because he usually makes me laugh.

I honestly prefer Jakarn and I wish that ZOS had put in more quests that involved him.
