A Teeny weeny tiny Clue? Please??

Ok...stay positive!!!! Deep breaths..

Could we please get a clue if anything is gonna happen to Storage?
I'll happily pay RL cash if you add it to the store but in-game it's a nightmare.

I actually spent more time last night (due to RL work) sorting my chars inv. into the various alts than I did playing the actual game, wasn't to impressed at that I can tell you.

I don't Farm, scam, exploit or run in a guild doing 24/7 delvs so the odds on me getting enough gold to buy all the bag/bank upgrades are pretty much zero.

A little clue?

I know i'm gonna get flamed now and such, but it's the way I play my game. I hoard, it's how I role and what makes me happy playing.
Call it OCD if you like but I have stacks of 100 and now I have to have 100 in everything.

This is NOT a rant as i'm still on the Zeni train happily waiting for my DB outfit but a teeny weeny clue couldn't hurt, could it???

Is it true that items don't stack?
If so, I wouldn't have an issue paying RL$ for inventory upgrades(Aside from the gold-storage upgrades).

Any idea, if Zeni will ever modify storage? Kinda rough that items don't stack.

Maybe it'll be different when I play the game...but that must bite running back & forth from the vendor to sell excess loot(s).

Just wanted to mention that this game isn't F2P as those games have really horrid ways of dealing with inventory.

Some have temporary(30 day rental expansions).
Many others(Even some subscription games) have permanent upgrades to the inventory.

In my other MMO that I play(I will be trying ESO for the 30 days) I have roughly 300 inventory...with gear & weapons having their own separate storage.

Wanted to mention this, because the more I think of it...not having(Or being able to stack items)the option to stack items is a huge kick in the Nether regions.

This won't deter me from trying the game...but I can see how it can mess with gathering/crafting etc.

where on earth did you guys get the idea that you can't stack items? Of course you can stack items. What you think crafters have 100 or so slots taken up for each stack of materials they have. Christ, even the guild bank I use would not help with that.

I mention it as some reviews have harped on the stacking thing.

I've yet to play the game, so if it isn't true, then great.

there's a problem with the guild bank where when you put something in and there is a stack there already, it doesn't autostack, but you can use the roomba addon to stack stuff without having to spend forever on it manually.

Most items will stack to 100.
Armour/weapons/set pieces/maps ect don't stack.

If your a crafter then you get problems with the sheer number of items this game holds. Confectioner is a big problem as each faction has it's own foods and raw ingredients and can easily fill your alts (I have 2 alt mules just holding food items).

The main problem i see is that your Bank is shared between all your chars. If we had a personal bank per char also then the storage problems would be pretty much zero but we don't.

Most people will never have storage problems as they just sell everything to the NPC's but still...some of us like to store items before we make that wrong decision to sell without really knowing the items true worth.

Sadly, that is the theme song of ESO: lots of people hating on it without even playing it.

To be clear: yes, things stack. There is a bit of a problem with auto-stacking in guild banks, but otherwise most things stack fine.

And the game is great.

I believe they said in the Quakecon Q&A that they are aware of the bank/storage issues. They have no plans to change it at the moment but they are aware of our concerns !
