Research timer not working properly

I have noticed that the research timer behaving oddly. For some time i have checked the dispalyed time in research and the actually time differce alot. Then logged in the research timer display 28 min left but after 35 min played it stands at 15 min left. Another time it said 2 hour 23 min 35 sec but after around 5 hours played time it stood at 58 min. Anyother encounter tis?
