Everyone should cancel their Subscription for 1 month. You'll still be able to play, but this will send a clear message to ZOS, that you can't screw over your long time supporters / Consumers and expect to get away with it.

For the record, I could give a rats ass about some vanity pet.

What I care about is a company that intentionally creates policies/content intentionally designed to screw over their long time supporters and consumers while rewarding new players to the game.

(Because it couldn't be anything else, unless ZOS is incompetent, which they obviously are not, So it MUST have been 100% intentional.)

This can not stand, and everyone needs to show ZOS they can not get away with it. If only on principle.

If people only were this passionate about real life issues. How about we all go on strike because megacorps are ruining the world and screwing humanity? No? Didn't think so.

Actually some of us already do that. and there are quite a few organizations out there, Walmart can't put stores in certain cities because of this, for example.

    ^^

Also, even if this were financially motivated (duh) I can't see all the new players complaining about the early access gifts.

It's just a timing thing. This is not my hill to die for.

I like this game, not going to stop the sub as a protest, especially when they are fixing the issues (not fixed but fixing).

I don't care about the pets, and because I don't care about them, I'm not insulted by us not getting them. Now if they stopped fixing the issues I'ld stop my sub, or if they gave new buyers only a decent piece of kit. But not over a pet I don't even want.

Like I said it has nothing to do with the pet. or the 50% discount. If they are willing to screw over consumers intionally on something as *** as this, what's next?

I would prefer to stop them, and show them they can't, before they get a chance for a "next". Which might well be giving people a special piece of the pie or "kit" as you call it.

What if next time they make a specially really cool motif for an armor set that only "new Players" can have. Bet you'd jump on the bandwagon then...

Point is, you have to stop a company from really screwing you before they get a chance to. Not let them roll over you the first time and go "Oh whatever they didn't do anything last time except talk a lot on the forums and whine, who gives a crap "shrugs".

What you want them to say is:

NO last time we did something like that half the player base unsubbed for a month, we do it again we may actually loose over half our subscribers.
