I can't understand one thing. They announced that is coming for PC, XBOX One and PS4. Why they didn't mention about steam? It all about money and how they behaving with customers. It's very rude. I wouldn't pre-order if I know what it comes for steam. I don't mind to pre-order steam version. I have at home steam console. I don't know what to say.
Also they can transfer Bethsedia account to XBOX and PS4, what I can't transfer to steam?
Game for XBOX and PS4 is delayed, but about steam they didn't mention at all.
In conclusion I cancelled subscription. This was first and last time they I buying from Bethsedia and Zenimax. I can't tolerate this anymore. I am still human.
I am glad they went on steam, if they got in to your local store would you cancel your sub?
Quitting threads are against the rules.

Its not like the Steam version is free to play or something.
I do wonder IF I buy this on the Xbox One, how the transfers work because it seems like they are creating more of an issue rather than an opportunity.
Transfers one character and then the customer wants to come back...Character stuck on console.
Or a customer transfers to one console and then their friends transfer to another...the customer cant transfer again.
Just copy the entire account, all characters and inventories to each console whenever. Link the two and IF I want to copy at launch fine...If I decide to finish my sub time on PC let me copy again to overwrite the characters.
My concern is that the economy and gold, loot will get dupped and such.
People will be buying PC stuff from PC xfer accounts to their console account as it seems the two are not the same.

Is not about local store what ever example, it about cheating. They planned it that they will realize game for steam. That they done is not acceptable. I believe that steam takes some profit from sale. So first they wanted to make some clean profit and now they put on steam. I have plenty Bethsedia games on steam, all Elder Scroll games, all Fallout games and others. And we are talking about big market. Steam is most profitable market for PC games in the world, is not Ubisoft or orange.
Don't understand OP at allI have games on Origin, games on Steam, digital downloads and DVDs, the game is the same, what difference can it possibly make?
Ok, have a hissy fit and miss out on a good game, seems a bit OTT

I went back to EQ1 last year and did it through steam. the only difference was my install folder was in the steam tree and not by itself (oh and it auto-added to my steam game library... takes 3 clicks to add outside games).
A lot of people seem mad about the dog though lol.

I play steam games on my PC using Windows (for all its faults)...always have...Since Steam has been a PC thing for many many years...
i don't see anyplace that Steam ESO is Linux compatable.
