"Unknown error has occurred"

I've tried logging in 5 time today, each time I pick my character, it goes to the loading screen, then kicks me back to the sign-in page. Is this a know problem? How do I get around it? (PS I last logged out when my game was glitching during a quest in stormhaven)

Do you only have one character? Try loading a different one, or maybe create a temporary one to try.

'Unknown error' is most usually caused by a problem trying connect your game client to the world server.

Same here; Whitescreen crashes constantly. On all chars

I created a new character as was able to get in game, but when I logged out and back in with my old character, I still received the unknown error. Please tell me there is a way to correct this because if I lose all that progress, I'm cancelling my subscription ASAP.

If it is one character only you are having issues with, put in a ticket, tell them the problem and ask they move the character. I've had that happen in Stormhaven and they moved my character within 30 minutes of getting the ticket. I could then log in with that character.

For anyone encountering this issue only on characters that last logged out in Stormhaven, please post over in this thread so that we can create a ticket for you and have a GM move you to a safe location.
