1.3.0 Warlock Set?

Any screenshots on this? I've heard rumors that the Magicka Flood is now a 5 piece. Curious to see what the other bonuses are.

Was a good jewelry set for non light wearers before, now it only for light armor users. I was they had all the sets across armor types. This pigeon hole stuff of light for magicka, medium for stamina/stealth, heavy for health is just stupid. Esp since ALL Class Skills use Magicka

Enchantment can be replaced now. This means warlock is still effective

What a crap....

I'm wearing 5-part PvP Set and decided about one week ago to wear three parts of Warlock in addition to the PvP Set.

So bought the 3 parts which where interesting for me and maxed them from blue to gold (had to farm the money in because i was broke).

This was totally *** as it turns out now.

Now i have this golden gear giving me +8 Magica Regen and +61 magica?!? Nice one...

To use my hardeners to max it to legendary and putting legendary glyphs on it was quite stupid i think XD
I could puke....

you cant switch the enchanting on warlock set Floerreng, at least not the blue set of it, so I dont know how u manage to put legendary glyphs on it...

back to topic, yeah warlock set will for most even mages that have crafted or drops from last boss trails, be a memory of the past.

I hate this new set. The magicka flood I want was a 3 piece, I use the necklace and 2x rings. It was definetely a worth while bonus then. Now, I need to have 5 pieces to get the same bonus. This really takes away the 2 slot I needed to wear another set.

Yes you are right, i mixed it up. I put those enchants on the other gear was a mistake of mine to say i put it on warlock set.

So the only stuff i wasted was 16 legendary mats^^

Well this screws over my Imperial mage's gear setup...I was using two gear sets of 3/5 pieces and reluctantly started using the Warlock jewelry because I was afraid I couldn't replace it. Sadly it just proves my hesitation right to not use sets I can't craft myself. I had a good setup with Warlock and my other two sets and came to rely on the magicka flood occasionally happening now I guess its back to whatever jewelry I can find again.

Personally if they are going to force us to use 5 pieces of the set for the magicka flood then they need to make it percentage based and not a hard number. I think maybe 25%-33% would be nice.

For me, warlock was not really good for dps, now it's clearly a healing oriented stuff.
2 and 4 bonus with magika regen and the fact that we can now put magika cost reduction on jewelry just make it awsome and a lot stronger than before.

I'm really impatient to test it with the new seducer set.

You can get Warlock 5 and Seducer 5 too, sounds pretty good to me

Would have been better if they kept it Magical Flood at a 3piece bonus but overall I think this set was drastically improved when this goes live.

Before I used Shoulders, Robe, and Cowl of the warlock. I refused to wear a ring or neck piece of the warlock due to the locked enchant. With the enchants being unlocked I am extremely happy.

Please consider that they are also greatly increasing the Max magicka soft cap. Thus this set will be restoring even more magicka for most players.

Unless they changed it on the PTS, the Magicka Flood has always been 33% of your max Magicka (it's just never stated 33% but if you do the math it shows).

Personally, I'm rather unhappy their moving this to a 5 piece set. Moving everything to 5 piece sets really cuts down on the set building creativity and will turn a lot of people off I think

What it does is, with the changes to some of the 5 sets, make any of the 5 sets more useful instead of the same few 3 or 5 sets being used by a vast majority of all players.

It already is and always has been percentage based. In fact it actually has been nerfed some on PTS to scale based on quality and veteran rank for its percentage now instead of just being 33% (aka one-third) as it always had been.

As long as we can replace enchants on set items on live like we can on PTS with v1.3, I'll be quite happy to equip five-piece Warlock .

You can get Warlock 5 and Seducer 5 too, sounds pretty good to me

As a healer I'm quite alright with these changes. Going to have magicka sustain for days and can slot +weapon damage enchants on all jewelry to boost healing output.

Almost time to nerf my sub. I give up hope for this game when all you do is nerf and mess things up all the time... and for no dam reason at all!

Do you have any idea how much people paid for these items?

This game should never have come out of beta if your doing all these changes 3 months in that are game changers. I was utilizing 3 different sets for my set up and now I have no idea what to do, and why bother, who knows what you'll nerf next!! ****

As a warlock (ab)user myself i say it's about time. Besides you can swap enchantments on jewelery in 1.3 so not much will change. Perhaps the set even got better in some cases.

Yeah this seems like a straight up nerf to me. Magicka flood was a fabulous 3 piece.

Indeed it is.

Tried on PTS my "new" crafted setup, and is absolutely superb. Anyone with half brains can realise the potential of the changes.

It was way too strong and the changes bring some diversity... everyone was wearing those rings and necklace and thats really boring. Good job Zenimax!
Diversity is a must and the patch does that very very fine from my point of view.

The nurf to Soulshine Set was unnecessary +20% dmg/heals on channeled&casted was breaking no neck. The WL set, though, was a little bit OP.

It's not stupid it just keeps builds from being to OP. If they were to do what u wanted it would be unbalanced.

I'm ok with the change *but* they really should add more items to the set to allow for more build options using sets. There are several sets that I can't run paired with the new 5/5 warlock because of the limitation on the items available. While true they added shoulders recently which helped I feel they should add one or two more pieces to allow this flexibility.

I play a pure caster sorc using the warlock set and although I understand how u feel u really have to look at the bigger picture. The current live warlock set compared to most other sets in game is very OP. I'm surprised it wasn't nerfed sooner.
