Keep crouching and uncrouching randomly

As the title says, my character repeatedly crouch and uncrouch sporadically without me touching the keyboard and has been doing this for weeks. I thought it was a problem with my mouse but I've logged in on a completely different computer and it still happens. I really have no idea what could be causing this.

Man, I'd seriously be hating that.
I can't see being able to maintain immersion with that issue at all.

I get annoyed that my crouched/stealthed 'toon stands up and crouches again while harvesting mats in the middle of packs of Senche Tigers, ogres, or other badguys.

Constantly/randomly would bork it for me.
Game breaking?
No.
But about 42% less fun all the time.

I was hoping they'd address my issue one day, but yours is a lot worse.

Yeah that animation also bugged me too. This bug/glitch or whatever is making combat extremely difficult, I can barely aim at things when this happens. Anyone have any idea what to do?

You probably threw your back from carrying a full backpack of loot and trying to run at the same time. You should go see a chiropractic in the capital city. Or, you might have accidentally buttoned your cuirass with your greaves. Happens even to the best of heroes.

Is the issue persisting for only one character, or is it happening across the board?

Either way, give a shot to going to the Key Bindings menu within the settings and setting the bindings to default. Then try pressing Control and let us know if you are able to stand up!

I had a similar problem with one of my characters the other day - I got stuck in an animation for a quest that involved rescuing a fellow from a spider nest. I couldn't come back out of it. It was pretty funny riding a horse while in the crouching and hitting animation.

When this sort of thing happens, is it an animation cancelling problem from interrupting one action to start another?

Yes I bug reported it. Eventually the problem resolved itself when I travelled to another zone using a wayshrine.
