Thanks!
Though... as I thought, most shades of gray (which will be the most wanted right after black) are tied to "hard to get" achievements... like full Vamp/WW skilllines, high PvP ranks, grindy achievements that take forever to do..
Thanks!

Well, but if those without achievement linked are "free" from the start, we get only 2 shades of gray by default:
Coldharbour Ash Black (why marked as "rare" if it's not tied to achievement? bug?)
Soul Shriven Gray
which is really poor...
though it's hard to imagine the color on armor from that, as "black" is just some medium gray, which really makes me wonder about how it will look (also, Daedric "red" is almost black).
but otherwise it looks like it's gonna suffice, I really look forward to the patch, and just hope that we'll get some fixes (fix the damned NB's stealth breaking by Poison Arrow DoT ffs!) and no new bugs!
Thanks!

Yeah WW/Vamp level 10 isn't remotely hard to get. And also it's ACCOUNT wide so ANY of your 8 characters that got WW or Vampire to level 10 even if you cured it months ago (all achievements are retroactive, even the ones being added in 1.3) will give your account access to those dyes.

Hey everyone, with the addition of the dye system with update 3, we have compiled a list of all the dyes on PTS with their associated achievements on eso-fashion. This is sorted by color right now but we can do one sorted by achievements later.
Right now it is just color squares but we are hoping to add previews on armor in the next few days.

Enjoy!

Yep, not happy about that either since I don't like to pvp - not nice at all ZOS
I am amused by ZOS's idea of what is a "rare" accomplishment, versus not-that-rare-in-reality or really nuts or basically impossible.
Master Fisher - These achievements have always been broken, and as there's many that are assigned to different zones (not to mention that no one seems to know the different types of water/bait/zone combinations or how that all works, thus I label it Basically Impossible
Botanist - Learn every Alchemy plant Trait. Blessed Thistle, Bugloss, Columbine, Corn Flower, Dragonthron, Emetic Russula, Entoloma, Imp Stool, Lady’s Smock, Luminous Russula, Mountain Flower, Namira’s Root, Nirnroot, Stinkhorn, Violet Coprinus, Water Hyacinth, White Cap, Wormwood - This Achievement is labeled as "Rare" but the real challenge is having enough inventory space to collect them all and then the patience to scan through all 4 traits of each mat to see whether you've gotten them all, and which are missing... and how in hell would you go about getting the last remaining few ones, when the number of possible combinations of 3 mats is exponential, verdad?
