What is up with FPS?

Have not played in a few days and am now seeing my rock solid 60 FPS drop to under 10 on a regular basis. It appears to be exclusively related to ESO since my connectivity is extremely stable with high throughput. Is it server side or client side? This does not manifest in other games.

They have rolled out two hot fixes for this but it isn't fixed. Here is the latest thread on it if you want to post there as well:

I see the other longer FPS threads have "sunk" so I'm assuming it's either fixed or at least playable for allot of the people who were affected. Mine is playable now but I'm back to windowed fullscreen with less FPS than true fullscreen before the 2 patches and hotfixes. I'm playing on an older dualcore AMD with GTX750ti running 3 720p Walmart TVs in surround. I'd like my fullscreen/vsync without the "tearing" back but I've read they're "still working on it".

    UPDATE:

I got 2 responses to my ticket

    1. run repair . . . no effect
    2. I was given a new UserSettings.txt . . . no effect

After getting 2 responses via email in a timely fashion, I have not heard back in the last 36 hours. Might just be diminished capacity on the weekend.

Think many just gave up, feeling ignored and suffering in silence with problems or quit and moved on. Knew people that done either. Myself just gave up and try to play the game and hope they fix it. Went from 60 fps pre patch 1.2.3 to 8 - 30 post patch. They fixed some problems but far from the hole.

While we did push a hotfix that resolved performance issues for many, we are aware that some players are still having issues. The hotfix we recently pushed is part of an on-going effort to address these performance issues. As we roll out more fixes, we'll be sure to let you folks know. We know that this is frustrating, and we do appreciate your patience in the meantime.

@ZOS_TristanK this is a misrepresentation. The hotfix did not RESOLVE performance issues, it mitigated some performance issues. No one has gotten back to where they were before the original patch that broke FPS. Clarity is really important to customers.

How much do you appreciate our patience? Enough to not charge us while the game is unplayable? Enough to provide details and timelines on a resolution? Enough to roll back the patch that broke it all?

How far are you willing to go?

Wrong. Most people are back to where they were before 1.2.3. As mentioned, not all. You're among them.

    Wrong? lol

When you can quantify your facts then you can be emphatic and absolute. I will stick with my original classification as broadly mitigated but not resolved. Most people I have spoken to are still affected. Threads on the subject still get posts. A few I know have thrown up their hands in disgust and un-subbed. Not because of this specifically but more in-line with straw and camels back.
