So, according to the tooltip it's supposed to do 110% bonus damage to the closest enemy. To me that means the closest enemy will take a little over double the damge the others take.
I've been noticing something weird lately though. Seems to me all but the closest foe take very little damage, so to test it I did a few packs of three identical mobs, only using puncturing sweep to down the first one, making sure the other two were in range.
All tests resulted in the same picture: When the closest one dies, the other two are still at roughly 85% health. That's a damage ratio of - others/closest mob - 15/100 instead of 47.6/100 (100/(100+110)).
Possibilities:
- My math is way off and I shouldn't be posting this early in the morning
- I misread the tooltip
- I'm dealing with weird non standard mobs
- The skill got partially broken in a recent patch (I feel like it was working as expected not too long ago)
Can anyone shed some light on this, or is anyone experiencing the same thing?
