Honestly, I think the whole thing is balls. If memory serves, you need 10 plus for a bank and now also for a tabard. In every other MMO I've played I've always been in a 3-5 man friends and family guild and I've been able to access most everything I'd like with that number. I don't like the way this game is handling guilds, auction houses, and it's unresponsive combat. These are my last few days in the game, and I'm thankful for ZoS for teaching me not to trust a game from them.

It's not really that much if you need to make coin just sell your unrefined mats to the loads of people I see buying up unrefined mats for 1k+

The crests seem really limited. I know there are a couple tabs, but 11 per the 4 we see makes 44 crests assuming each tab has 11 crests in it. There may be more, but I'm really hoping for an option to create our own crests. I have the feeling a lot of guilds are going to run around looking like each other.

2k or even 4k is not that much money really, you can make that up with in a day or less just doing quests and grinding. I mean most of the gear you can either find in drops or make yourself that is better. So saving money isn't that hard to do and you don't even need to sell motifs. All you have to do is save your money, it also helps too to play your alts too that's even more quests and grinds to add to your bank. It adds up fast and for myself I also repair my equipment every time I go into town.

I also fully recommend you turn you auto loot on in your settings menu it also helps for you to save money because you don't have to see it until your ready to sell off all the equipment and items you have found.

Actually we asked for interactable weapons... ok they got the implementation wrong, but we did ask.
We asked for armor dyes... we are now getting armor dyes.
We ( a large % of players) asked for changes to VR... we got it

2000 gold for a tabard? May be hard for new players, but certainly not for someone above lvl 10 (unless they spent it on bag upgrades or a mount).

I'd say people around the 20s are safe, generally speaking. I honestly don't know how much gold people spend on a regular basis in game. This is just a shot in the dark.

2k is nothing. You are paying 2k for a stack of unrefined wood... 2k is nothing. And you usually have 4 trading guilds and 1 social guild so you would only buy 1 tabart. Or why would you buy one for your trading guilds. You can only wear one anyway!
And buying a new one every months or so if you are unlucky with your guilds is not going to make you poor.
