Love the dyes, think it's awesome, I am so sick of the boring dull poo coloured armour and also like the traders stores being added. Iam pleased with what they are adding
I can direct you to a million games that don't have "poo" colored armor. I'll keep my elder scrolls style in an ELDER SCROLLS GAME, thanks.
Sadly, it is going to happen. Pink, purple, orange, its all going to be there in its immersion breaking glory.nerevarine1138 wrote: »I have to say that the armor dye pics are exactly what my fears are about that system. I really hope we don't have a game full of people with fluffy, bright-colored outfits after update 3 comes out.
Tamriel is not Medieval Europe and its palette has always been somewhat muted. The objectors just want to keep the Elder Scrolls feel. For all you folks griping about bright colors breaking immersion, ESO is basically a fantasy Medieval world. The Medieval world was not dull, drab and dreary, with oppressing color schemes and dirty clothes. It was bright, colorful, and often times ostentatious in it's fashion sense.

The colours are undeniably garish and tasteless in those previews. But it's still an improvement over how hideous void-armor, and legendary-gold trimmings look (everyone looks gold, blue and gold, or brown and gold after level 30. I'll be happy if I can just make armor look like steel again.
Hate the guild changes. If they want to focus guild features around 10 people

That dude has been named on the forum as 'Captain Altmerica' which I think is just fantastic!

No it wasn't. Whoever wrote that article has no idea.
For example, the colour blue was only worn by Royals because nobody else could afford it because what was needed to dye something in blue was way too expensive.

Yeah, dye system is a good idea, but it really shouldn't get too cartoony...
The borders are going to melt, do not think I'd like it, if this is an ongoing process...

Colours are lore breaking? Lol!
