Not sure if this is just me or if maybe someone else has this issue too, but ever since the last hotfix, I've been getting...well, this. It doesn't happen indoors, oddly enough, but every zone is affected by this.
Edit: This issue has resolved itself after a few logins, so I'm not worried about it anymore!

    Interesting..
I keep thinking they have to rollback the new lighting system and fully test it so all the leaks and other strange things can be worked out by there testers, not us the beta crowd..oh wait, we arent in beta anymore?

Hey there, @emeraldbay. We'd recommend updating your graphics card. This should fix the problem. If you're still experiencing the issue, try doing a repair on the launcher.

If you still have any problems, we ask that you create a help ticket so our Support Team can also take a look at what's going on -- they'll likely request that you send them a Game Consultant file. Let us know if that helped!

I hope you meant "Graphics Driver". Telling someone to upgrade their graphics card because of a patch you guys did seems a bit ridiculous, lol.

Indoors is fine but outside is wack? How can that be a driver issue? If the driver is having problems everything should be wack. Maybe double check your settings to ensure some graphic setting hasn't gone rouge and isn't set correctly.

And I hope you get that stuff straightened out ASAP.

Okay, I've managed to update my drivers, and when I logged in, I was still having the issue, but it went away after a few minutes this time. I'm not sure what was causing this, but if all I have to do is wait a few minutes, I'll be fine until the next patch.

In Zen's defense, I have seen an improvement in FPS since this hotfix. Not that the issue was affecting me much before, but it's a noticeable improvement nonetheless.

Definite possibility. Could be something that *looks* like texture corruption as well.

    Let's rule some things out.
First: Check to see that your monitor cable is firmly connected on both ends. (yeah, you probably already know it's connected ... check it anyways, on Both ends)

Next: Repair your client, then run a Defrag to keep things in line. (my favorite: UltraDefrag from sourceforge)

If it's still a no-go, check your Vid card temp, run memtest to check out your RAM, and chkdsk to look for corrupted sectors on your HDD.

Post back with your results (please be thorough) and I should be able to point you in the right direction.

Quick summary: If it is data corruption that is *not* based on a hardware failure, try a Repair (couldn't hurt, and it *should* bring down a new file). Other things that can create, or look like texture corruption on the Hardware side: A loose monitor cable; An old-school VGA connector with a bent pin; A partially cooked Vid card; 1 stick of bad RAM; Or a failing HDD.

    Good luck :)

Thanks for the suggestions, but I already have this resolved. I guess I should update the OP, huh...sorry!

Did you do a 'clean' driver install? You may want to use one of the driver eradicator type utilities out there. Even with a driver uninstall some .dll files and registry settings can be missed and they may well be the cause of your problem.
