Who to contact?

This isn't really support as such. It's something in the game that makes me quite uncomfortable. It's a word used to describe a certain sort of person. A word that was once acceptable but now many people on the receiving end find quite offensive. So I'm not looking for technical assistance or have an account issue. Just I think someone somewhere should be aware of the negative connotations of this word and perhaps consider changing it. It's a word I have been asking people at work not to use - especially not to use in regards to myself.

I came across it towards the end of the Mages Guild questline. I'm not going to mention it here as I would rather it was just taken away quietly if possible.

So who is the right person to e-mail or message who can get this taken to the writers and let them have a think about it?

I think ive seen it all now.

And for the record ive done the mages guild questline four times now, and I havent seen anything I could even remotely have said "this might offend someone" not that id care per se.

Also, I make this statement not to deride the OP, but to defend the questline (whatever he is complaining about) as being benign and harmless in its dialogue. Anything being considered offensive must be some sort of overblown hypersensitivity issue because I never saw one iota of anything that breaks either TOS or the M rating of the game itself. Do not change things because one person took a slight over it.

@ the OP, if your asking folks at work not to use this word you may find that someone will use it all the more once they realise it winds you up.

It's a word that you might only notice if it is something that affects you physically. Anyway I don't want to get into an argument about it here. I have passed on my thoughts to Zenimax and it's up to them if they want to make a change or not.

No argument from me, if something offends you then it offends you, just curious is all.

I hope that they ignore this sort of clap trap. The game is clearly labelled as mature. There will be blood, gore, sexual innuendo, and many other things that are not appropriate for all ages or sensibilities. What you are asking for is that the game be censored. That is no different than censoring a book or a movie. It takes away MY enjoyment of the totality of the Tamriel experience by dumbing it down. Where would you draw the line? There are many Hobby Lobby types who will be objecting to the game's same sex relationships and marriages as against their religion. Should the game have to be rewritten so as not to offend their sensibilities? Clearly the answer is NO. Try growing a little thicker hide. If you can't then maybe the Elder Scrolls universe isn't cut out to be your cup of tea. There are plenty of children's games out there that may not offend you. If you stay here please stop trying to reduce my enjoyment of an adult oriented game.

This is not about same sex marriage or blood or gore or anything saucy. It is about one word that may be offensive to those with a certain physical condition. As I say I have raised the issue and it is now in Zenimax's hands.
