All it takes to counter this is reflective scales.

reflective scales doesn't work on overload.

Scales works on overload light attack. Bash or Any other interrupt works on overload heavy. Also No light attack Weaving with overload

@Zenimax, with all the abilities and issues in game that really need an overhaul, you decide to empower the most powerful class even further.

The new version of overload costs quite a lot more than it used to but its power is just way off (and it's still relatively easy to charge up) . Why did you even bother spending time on something that worked fine and was well-balanced to begin with?

As a sorcerer player, too, I think it is way overpowered. I get light attacks that crit for ~800 damage and I am able to machine gun them for a really long time, too. People just face-melt like with the "Jesus-beam".

I also have VR characters of all the other classes, and a templar for instance really has to min/max in order to get a 800-900 damage count on his solar flare for instance - his most powerful damage ability (just to put it into perspective with something else)

Overload is mobile, it is not circumstantial, it is hard to avoid, it is hard to counter, and the best part is... it shoots through walls if you have your target soft-locked!

Just to give you an idea of what it is like to be on the receiving end of this ability:

    Bravo, Zenimax!

Don't get me wrong, I like my sorc powerful, too, but I am also an objective player, and the sorcerers were more than powerful enough before they decided to give them another God-mode ability.

This post has got to be a joke. 1st off the sorc the most powerful LOL? You gotta be f'g kidding. Maybe this is an op dk trying to get someone that killed him nerfed. 2nd you stood in range of an ultimate and the damage you complained about were both crit hits, not the normal damage. The normal damage ranged from 409-553 which is normal for an ultimate. The extra 300 may have even came from a potion instead of a crit.
