Sithis Fang or Sithis Egg? O.o

Did this quest today and noticed that Sithis Fang looked like an egg instead of an actual fang. Took a few screen shots to show what I mean. You decide, is it a fang or an egg?
Definition of a fang:
A large, sharp tooth, especially a canine tooth of a dog or wolf.
*the tooth of a venomous snake, by which poison is injected.
*the biting mouth part of a spider.

✭✭✭✭✭very interesting, the only thing i can imagine has happened here is that the real weapon is not yet implimented yet, because the dark brotherhood is not yet available. -just a guess-1 -

Yes, but the point being that its not a fang but an egg. And if you look at the 2nd picture you will see that they give you a dagger made in the fangs image. Dose that dagger look like an egg? Nope!
