After you run back and forth fetching all the items for that quest, then close the daedric boxes in the towers, your sent to the bottom of the waterfall to use the scroll to see the daedra. Spider daedra spawns... mid fight she vanishes. Can not re-summon. Have to abandon and did the whole thing again. Vanished again. Ended up having to wait for someone to show up so it could be burned down in a matter of seconds before it de-spawned again.

dan0311✭✭✭As of yesterday, I can't even get the spider to spawn, nor could a random guy doing it the same time as me. He said he had gotten it to work in the past but it must have gotten glitched since then. Hung around for thirty minutes to see if anybody else could get it to work but the Vet zones are so deserted i just gave up and went to go kill ogres.
Incidentally, as a former Sorcerer in a different life, I must say it was nice during this quest to be able to summon a Scamp to draw a little fire off me while I dealt with groups of three overpowered enemies at once. I fear that Veteran Rivenspire is going to be a bloodbath and since I am a fan of solo play, I wish ZOS would allow DK's, Templars, and NB's to buy or earn a pet. Even with the nerf, my enemies are growing in strength and number a lot faster than I can increase my skills, level, armor, etc. A pet would help...even a lowly scamp.0 -

✭✭✭✭Yet I did it yesterday with no problems whatsoever.
I did have a problem with a quest objective not spawning today in Eastmarch on a different character though, and looking through the forums I can't see anyone else has had that problem on that particular quest.
This leads me to think that when people are having problems with quests, it's not actually down to a bug with the quest script itself, but issues due to phasing and latency - which of course need to be sorted out.GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭Well after total frustration and no way to complete this quest I did a search on the forums. Seems they have a "fix" in place for 1.4.1 on the PTS server. Hopefully we will get this soon!
