No focus on blood and gore--just like it currently is. Keep it out of fantasy. If you like it go watch the news--except they will edit it out every chance they get.

I voted no, but the only reason I voted that way is because adding blood and gore would negatively impact game performance. If it didn't, then I don't see why having it as an on/off option would be a problem.

No, I prefer it as is. While I'm generally ok with anything as long as it's optional, I don't feel the need to waste resources on it, nor do I want the game to develop a tone that values that kind of thing or really attract people with the mindset that find it necessary.

My own view is that the game is better-off without blood and gore. I had all kill-cams, melee and ranged, turned off in Skyrim and don't think blood and gore would add anything to the game.

P.S. this poll is a response to the earlier, biased poll on the same subject: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/116384/blood-and-gore-optional#latest

Gore please, the polls all show we want it, give it to us please. ESRB has already rated the game M, so lets make it worth it, plus the other elder scrolls had it. Give. A.S.A.P.

Could be an option , but i think this is more of a ... technical limitation than a choice the devs made.

The Fallout gore always put me off, not that it was too gory but it rarely made any sense at all.

Yes I'd love to see Al Gore in the game giving a lecture on Global Warming. And maybe a bit more blood too...at least blood pools under bodies.

    PLEASE make ESO 18+.
Witcher was and it was the coolest game I've ever played. All thanks to sex, blood, gore and profanity. There are TONS of MMOs designed for children (Wizard101, Runescape, Minecraft..) but I seriously haven't played an entertaining game that wouldn't have adult content.

I think ZOS' designers would want that too, because right now the content is VERY limited and they HAVE TO make it repetetive (and boring) just to fit lower age rating.. well, but it's kind of too late for that. That decision should have been made at the start. Now they have to work with dead world with no children because NPCs can't have sex, absurd personalities because NPCs can't curse even in the worst situations, etc..

Yes. As a toggle option so that those who dislike it or worry about performance may leave it off. Those of us who want our axes dripping with the enemies blood may enable it.

that was only if u took "bloody mess" perk, then all u even punch by bare fist blowed up with absurdal amount of blood (red, green or whatever:P) & guts. other case it was quite fine

more gore, always more. Brains spilling out, disembowelment, limbs being hacked off. I love it!

To the person who said people who like it have a "certain mindset": I work very hard to try to be a decent human being and am exceedingly non-violent. Just because I want to see imaginary violence doesn't make me immoral. It is a game, most people are capable of separating game violence from real violence. When they can not it is not because of the game, it is because they have problems that limit their ability to separate fantasy from reality.

Best way would be of course finish move like in darksiders. When an enemys health get's low enough press E to preform a finisher. Add a few different ones per enemy/weapon type and that's it. That would be awesome! Would make this game much better.
