UI and Game Completely Unresponsive

While playing today, I ran into an issue that leaves me pretty much prone to just about anything. I was in the quest The Harvest Heart, and when I needed to choose who to work with, I couldn't do anything. No commands would work, all I could do is walk around and type into the chat window, though nothing would show up. I tried /reloadui, but that didn't fix anything. I couldn't quit, /logout, or anything. I couldn't pull up my horse, sneak, sprint... The whole game just seems unresponsive. I can't even ask for support in game. I had to force quit, and logging back in, I'm left with the same issue about 10 or 15 seconds after I'm in game.

I use no add-ons. I have no third-party software running. Any help would be appreciated.

This has happened to me often since the last patch, off course relog is the only fix and this is the same response I get from the bug report I place, "Did you try to relog"

Why? must we constantly relog? Memory leak again is an issue now also, the more you stay on game becomes so "not fun" to play.

I had to do a "task manager" quit one time also, also I use no add-ons now.

Well, logging out, and staying out for about 15 minutes seemed to fix things for me. I rolled back all my progress though I had done. I just completed that quest, so I hope to log back in and it's still completed.

I have been encountered a LOT of unresponsiveness since the last patch. Previously, if it did crop up where no activation presses were working (containers, npc dialogue, etc) I knew that I was either in a lag spike or about to get the famous Unknown Error kicking me to the log-in screen, but it was pretty sporadic and infrequent. When this happened, the chat window would also freeze up - but now when the unresponsiveness hits, the chat window keeps scrolling on merrily, and I can complain to guildmates about my frozen combat scene that will almost certainly result in me suddenly fast-forwarding to a death recap scene, which of course does happen. Again, just since the last patch, and I also use no add-ons, so the usual attempts to try to deflect blame onto the player's computing environment don't apply. Any steps being taken to address this unresponsiveness issue, which while not super-frequent is definitely pretty recurring?

When you find yourself the only one moving, then just know you need to relog. You do not need to wait 15mins as others suggest. I never have and when I relog im good to go.

Lag spikes is another story. I have not played much since last patch because of the freezes. It happens so often, if I try and do anything it will just get me wiped. Nor am I going to sit here and press a button and wait 1 min for something to happen.

Its pretty sad I am going back to play Civ 5 instead of playing ESO.

I experienced a couple roll backs today where I ended up with the same issue where I couldn't interact with any one suddenly.. I also had other UI issues since this patch and it only seems to be getting worse. Hopefully the update tomorrow/later today will help things.

I eventually sorta ragequit ESO after being faced with the fact that while one of the best games ever when it works, it so rarely works that it's not worth my time at all. I downloaded FTL: Advanced Edition for a fraction of the cost of ESO and it's brought me more joy in two days than ESO was able to do in the month-and-a-half I've spent subbed. I'm going to give this game another shot after the maintenance today since the devs assure us a lot of fixes are due but mostly I just feel like I wasted almost a hundred bucks.

Since v1.2.3 I also have that unresponsive UI problem. Happens instantly while fighting with mobs and I died many times because of I couldn't hit them.
