I don't know if you work, but if you do then it's not always feasible to find outside entertainment that's free outside of work hours, even if you had the energy. Thank the gods for holidays, which meant two weeks without a PC in sight, but they weren't free.

Fixed that for you as well. I feel like the paid part was kind of a given.

$15/month for ANY sort of entertainment is such a bargain it blows my mind how people can complain.
For ESO value, I'm still on my first 30 days of free play time.
As much I like ESO and other games, live entertainment with real food, real smells, real people, far exceeds any virtual form of entertainment. I tend to only compare games vs other digital content as far as entertainment value goes.
I'm perfectly fine with $15 sub fee though (prefer sub over f2p)

If you dealt with the smells, food and people that are a part of my live entertainment, you wouldn't...

Umm I can't think of many one time purchase games that give me 400+ hours of contents.
Sure you can say sandbox games like Skyrim but those build it mod it style is not how I enjoy games. I enjoy progression.

Yep...Monday through Friday 7am-5pm. I live in Houston so I guess I'm at an advantage for finding stuff to do that doesn't include the internet or money.
Definitely much less from what I spend everyday.
Drinking with friends on friday night: 120 NZD within 6 hours
Lunch everyday: $15-$17
List can go on. This is so much cheaper for entertainment for a few hours a day.

Probably. I live by the coast in N. England (that's N for North not New lol) and today was a typical English summer's day. Temperatures that would be a fine average for March, constant drizzle until around tea time when the heavens really opened and added strong wind to the rain.
Nope not going outside
