Immersion breaking NPCs in Halls of Torment

So I went into the halls of torment to fight Molag Bal and since I had a number of people(NPCs) following me as backup, I said why not release Faolchu, if he goes hostile, I have enough backup to defeat him.

Big Mistake.

My companions literally sat there and watched as I desperately tried everything to fight off the warewolf. I'm not saying they sucked at fighting Faolchu, no they literally did not fight.

I felt like their lack of action was extremely immersion breaking and was the direct cause of my death. I wouldn't have took the chance in letting him go, if I knew I would have to defeat him on my own. There's a chance I could have beat him alone, but I was in such shock that I foolishly let Faolchu get the upper hand before I could get a hold of my emotions.

... seriously? With all the NPC bugs, you were thinking they'd help out?

In almost a year of playing ESO i don't remember a single instance were a NPC was anything but a nuisance in a fight.

Expect (and plan) to be on your own and if they manage to get a hit on your target every once in a while, cool, but never ever count on it.

They were very helpful leading up to that point. It's not like Faolchu was the only enemy we saw.
