    It has been over 20 min for me and I have tried 3 times. All I keep getting sent is access codes......which dont work!

    Been a half hour for me and have received nothing but updates from my forum post. Have never had a problem receiving emails from ESO before, but still have not received my one time password

    Be sure to leave the login screen/access code box up and tab out to your email to get the code. For me only the most recent code would work. First time I didn't realize that I had been sent multiple codes from trying to log in a couple times.

    That's not good and probably why no email has been sent. What exactly happens when you try to log in then?

    Really...... ???? I spend hours waiting to load and then need to go through this too... Are you trying to torque us ? I am a very loyal, patient player but tonight has been a tough one for other RL reasons and it seems like you really did not think this through very well

    I am playing in game, never had to put a new password, just received a new code to be able to play with that computer (that was the same as before)

    Is that what you call the new password?

    I didnt recieve their 1 time password aswell,so cant log in still... Why they say its all complete if its not... They could do this maintenance with their password idea at night and no at the morning-midday. 1 payed day lost again...

    If it helps anyone else.. The first time I tried to log in to my computer I did not get a popup box or anything. I had to exit out, relaunch the launcher and enter my password again before the pop up box appeared.

    Er, 'access codes' ARE 'one-time passwords' ZOS confusingly use two names for the same thing: not helped by the fact that 'one-time password' is the term often used to refer to the code generated by security tokens and the like.

    If they don't work they likely expired, this happened a LOT the last time ZOS pulled this trick on the EU server alone, the code has a 10 minute expiry IIRC.

    It has been 45 minutes and still no code sent and not in my spam folder. Please fix, obviously not able to play.

    edit: closed the game again and tried to log in and email finally came.

They has suspended my account believing it has been compromised they keep asking me for my Sercurity question answer.  But I can not get to the question because I can't log on the website either. They say they need to verify my account belongs to me but won't give me the question to answer they tell me to log on to get it.  It is amazing that all this happened after the patch update. I was playing the night before patch and now I can't get on to my account.  How awesome is this. Not to mention it takes them hours to get back to me via email. Well guess I will keep waiting to hear back. Another wasted day. </p>

    Your question/answer should be something you don't really have to think about. Maybe you should put more thought and change it to something you'll actually remember.

    I've been waiting for 20 some odd minutes and haven't received mine. Tried to contact support through their phone system and the website says it's no longer available every time I hit submit. Don't know who decided that a one time password needed to be put in but they should be fired.

    The entire point of the secret question is two-way confirmation. One party proves they are legit by giving the right question, the other party proves they are legit by giving the right answer.

    Demanding the answer without giving the question is:
    a) ignoring the entire point of the question/answer method, and
    b) asking for a password, not an answer to a question they haven't asked

    During the billing fiasco last month where my main personal bank account was frozen because ESO's attempts to take my subscription were flagged as suspicious, support changed my registered email address from Hotmail to my unique domain work address. I pointed out at the time that I wouldn't be able to access this address when I wasn't at work if authentication was needed in the future.

    Now authentication is needed, and obviously I can't access it. I've added a response to my ticket (Question Reference # 140610-000097) asking them to change it back, and obviously I can't play until they do. Getting a bit tired of not being able to play the game I paid for :/

    While that may be the case in most situations, the point I was getting across is that I know what my question is without them asking, hence I know the answer. Or write the question down and sticky-note it somewhere if you have problems remembering. As a person who is would normally not reccommend such methods, it is just a question and not the answer to it, nor a password so something important. And frankly, the questions are fairly generic and used not just by ZOS.

    If you get an email from ZOS regarding an issue and they ask for such information, you can check which email address it was sent from. I do believe its generic and not unique per representantive. They've been plastering useful tips around the forums that should be followed directly related to such issues as getting messages/emails/ect claiming they're from ZOS.

    I remember having to do this over the phone and CS asked not for my answer to my secret question but what was my secret question. What is this Jeopardy? LoL.

    The guy was really nice though, laughed too, and I think gave me a hint or multiple choice question or something. Can't remember now but there is no way in hell I can remember what question I chose to ask myself. I only remember the answers to them.

    That's not good.
    *Side Note: Any time you have a serious problem like, you can't log in, just use CS phone call back ticket. It is much quicker than email. Might take an hour or two to get the initial call but once you do the problem tends to get resolved quicker.

    <p>You should call them. 24hr customer service line and toll free. Don't use the email system for something like this. Too much back and forth. And don't use the request call back. Call them directly</p>
