How can I fix my DL speed?

I'm DLing the patch at 2-3mb/s but when downloading other files, I'm getting 25-35 mb/s. I turned off my windows firewall but it's not going any faster. http://www.speedtest.net/ is showing my DL speed at 83-87 mb/s after three tests.
What can I do to make this speed up? I'd like to play tonight. Thanks.
