Overall Satisfaction With ESO

I believe they are moving on, listening to all players feedbacks (negatives and positives) and trying to make difference, I'm satisfied enough to keep playing, but I would like to see more VR Content and more things to be fixes like Templars and Stamina Address.

We all know that game has some problems, but I believe and have some hope they will fix it or most of it, since never will be 100% for all.

and please stop nerfing things, and remember we want balanced classes, not a "better one".

For now I'm still playing even sometimes hard enough (less people in VR Zones).

I don't like to put in any type of "service" Extremely Satisfied, coz I believe we need to make our service better every day, so to have my 8 or 9 final vote, let's check forward what will happen.
NA PC Server - CP810 - Played Since Beta 2014, but left for 4 years, coz games got unbalancing, boring and too much expensive (still?)

    - MagSorc (50) - DPS
    - MagTem (50) - Healer
    - StamDK (50) - Tank
    - StamNecro (50) - DPS
    - StamTem (developing) - DPS
    - MagNecro (developing) - DPS
    - MagWard (developing) - Healer
    - Stamblade (developing) - DPS

And let's be clear about why.

I don't mind 10 hour maintenance times. Better to get it right.
I don't mind bugs in the game. And just how many bugs dos Skyrim still have?
I don't mind "broken" mechanics. Annoying, but it's a work in progress.

    What I do mind?

Not getting a security email 4 hours after the server came back up and being locked out of the game for no reason!

looks like most have voted between 7-8 honestly better then i had thought it would be considering the amount of complaints on the forums.
gives me hopes that the game will still be considered a success and we will be able to keep our user base up:)

There was a similar poll around a while ago. I gave it 7/10 back then, and I will still give it 7/10. Since I am in EU, right now I have not seen the new patch yet. It addresses several issues, but there is still a lot more to be done, in very crucial areas, like stamina / physical / melee / "weapon / warrior" style builds, and of course the (in)famous "VR content".

I can see though, they are working towards those issues, and hopefully something good will happen in the near future.

To be honest, if they manage to properly address those remaining issues, ESO will become a lot more attractive, especially through "VR content". In that case it has the potential for a 9/10 if not better. We shall see.

ESO has a really good concept. However the quality of the tech behind the game is below all standard. What I'm thinking of is all this wared errors people getting that no one even bather to fix, addons that crash other players clients, quest objectives that stop working all of a sudden and then two days later work again without even a server restart and allot of other similar stuff. I have played "early access" games on steam that are less buggy then ESO is today. And compared to any MMORPG that been officially released in US/NA ESO is in the very top 3 of the most buggy game ever.

If I would be CEO of Zenimax I would demand better quality yesterday or fire every mother *** that does not know how to code and higher better devs.

Wife and I are having a lot of fun with ESO so far. Almost got our mains to 50, then will switch to some alts in another alliance and go to 50 again.

Yeah, there are some annoyances and bugs, so I couldn't give it a ten. But it's the most beautiful MMO we've played, and it definitely gives me that TES 'feel'.

The game has ranked at a steady 7 since launch for me. Pretty on par with the user reviews. Gameplay is fun, story is engaging, but it does still have bugs and balancing issues to work out. Guild store improvements this patch are amazing, but would prefer a text search option still.

Gave it an 8. I'm enjoying all of the elements of the game I came for including voice acting, graphics, lore, story and challenging game play.

Just needs a few tweaks to improve inventory management, grouping, stamina builds and a slightly more forgiving end game.

Also looking forward to some of the planned future additions including the justice system, more areas to visit, some new skills and potentially housing.

    4 out of 10.

Bugs, crashes and even login issues don't bother me all that much after taking a deep breath and considering it's a major MMO launch.

But it's got minor/moderate failings as an MMO: No search function makes guild store crappy, PvP system is interesting, but unbalanced (most specifically, the effect of capturing Elder Scrolls helps stronger factions snowball; also seems rather lore-unfriendly). Haven't seen late-game content myself, though guilds, dungeons and grouping options in early game seem good enough.

More importantly IMO, it's got significant failings as an Elder Scrolls game: It's good for character flexibility and crafting, but zone-based progression removes arguably the greatest strength of the ES series - really too difficult to zone players in an area by level groups rather than randomly, and scale monsters/loot to suit? Extras like thieving, assassination (could do some interesting things with assassinating other players, even, within reason) and house-owning (I loved collecting books in Oblivion and Skyrim, and don't always want to read on the spot, especially when monsters spawn and attack!) gave the series its extra flair.

Just cancelled my subscription but might return sometime if the constant/poorly managed downloads and general features eventually improve. Most folk who've cancelled their subscriptions probably are not voting in the poll, and that's probably the most important indicator of success ;)

The game gets a reluctant 8 at the moment. This game could have been a 9 if it had a better launch, but I was also very close to giving it a 7. As a PvPer in particular, I was very upset with massive class imbalances and bugs, exploitable bugs like caltrops, and the decision to open with 10 campaigns for 90 days, leaving players spread across too many servers without the turnover necessary to naturally combat population imbalances and one server merging. The fact they aren't changing the campaign structure at the end of 90 days is disappointing, but I am pragmatic enough to understand the practicalities of implementing such a large-scale change.

I also ran into the Final Assault bug, but I actually figured out a quick and easier way than the complex one to activate the last fire. Then, for the good of Tamriel, I waited around and helped other people do it. That's how much I really do want this game to succeed, as frustrated as I can get with it at times; helping other players progress and not get so frustrated that they quit the game was my offering to Akatosh.

As someone who comes from the RPG arena as oppose to MMO's, I was really looking forward to questing. Even early on in the game I still watched as my friends and guildmates grinded past me, while I frustratingly tried to fight my way through the Greenshade disaster. The quests could be more dynamic, but I also think they did a good job in a lot of areas. Also, I was a bit disappointed with the recycled content and quest grind. Sure, I enjoy visiting these new areas, and I still enjoy questing when I have spare time, but after getting to VR1 the good-old-fashioned way of questing/dungeons/dolmens, I was burnt out before I even finished the first VR+ zone. If PvP is such a central part of you game, why not make PvP VR XP gains equivalent, in terms of XP/hr, to PvE? We all know the answer: They had to get their money's worth out of their investment in the other Alliance's content. I'm not hating on that, but as a user and avid fan of the game, it is an honest criticism and frustration. Craglorn was a good fix for that, and I was able to grind my way to VR12, invest fully into my armor sets, and have the finalized PvP Bowcerer I had been building towards.

The game, as it is now, is an 8. With a few updates, it could be even better. The game got a lot of things right, more than a lot of people give them credit for, but it still could use a few additions. Here are some things I think the game needs:

-Arenas: I love PvP, I love Cyrodiil, but this game is very well suited for an arena gametype. I understand that, like recycled VR content, they're going to try and get their money's worth out of their investment. That said, jumping in a quick game with even odds is a different, fairer level of competition than a continuous assault and defense that is rarely even-sided. I don't want arenas because I don't like Cyrodiil, I want arenas because I feel it would be a very welcome and valuable addition to the game.
-Jewelry Crafting: This is a bit more minor, but I still think very essential. The crafting in this game is very robust, and I enjoy it a great deal, but not being able to craft jewelry is a big hindrance, especially for enchanters.
-Lower caps, fewer campaigns: This is already in the works, but we need a better spread of players and less dead campaigns. I like the new campaign ideas ZOS has discussed.
-DK Balancing: Primarily, Dragon's Blood. If a DK heal through a soul assault from 10% to full or near full health doesn't prove that this skill is terribly overpowered, I don't know what will. With Dragon's Blood balancing, DK's will be much more in line with other classes.
Aldonius Direnni - Vet Altmer Sorc (AD)
Tyrus Telvanni - Vet Dunmer DK (AD)
Al Donius Bundy - Vet Imperial NB (AD)
Aldonius Brutus - Vet Orc DK (DC)

Trouble is, a game called Elder Scrolls Online should not have Elder Scrolls as a mere topping. They tried to make it ES for sure, and perhaps succeeded in the case of character flexibility; but from what I've seen, didn't do very well at all with the free roaming/non-linear questing which is the other major pillar of TES games (they tried to emphasise 'exploring' in your designated levelling zone instead). And though my experience is limited mostly to WoW and a little Neverwinter, it's nothing exceptional as an MMO either; bordering on terrible in a couple of minor respects like guild store.

From a TES fans point of view I agree, but from an MMO fans point of view this game has way more to offer than any other. You obviously don't know how much other MMOs have messed up over the years. Not to mention how grindy and streamlined they are.

The part of ESO I like I love tremendously.

    1-50 is excellent
    VR is total crap

It's a game of two-halves and I'm losing after half-time, for me ESO isn't the long-term gaming investment I had really thought it would be pre-release, the VR bait-and-switch is unacceptable to me.
